Add that to the reams of stuff by knowledgable and equally expert scientists and researchers that dispute it all, it's getting harder to take seriously the Chicken Little warnings of the AGW proponents.

What I'd like to see is some solid explanation as to what is the optimum climate for earth, how hot can it get without the armeggedon predicted by the loonies. I'm thinking we can easily handle a few average degrees hotter than now and benefit as well.

The climate will always change. No one disputes that at all. What is in dispute is our part in it. Quite doubtful we have much. This is not to say that we shouldn't take steps to do things in the cleanest and healthiest possible way. But to spend unknown quantities of cash to try to prevent the temperature from rising a degree or two, as if we could, is about the most asinine and Gold Medal winning stupid waste of money one can imagine.Marshal Arthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01054268632726520871noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14443165.post-91064238237201711992010-02-09T22:15:05.346-06:002010-02-09T22:15:05.346-06:00I have blown your asses out of the water on this t...I have blown your asses out of the water on this topic already...

LOL. This occurs because as the climate warms, evaporation of moisture from the oceans increases, resulting in more water vapor in the air. According to the 2007 Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) report, water vapor in the global atmosphere has increased by about 5% over the 20th century, and 4% since 1970. The Climate Extremes Index plot for extreme 1-day precipitation events (Figure 7) does indeed show a sharp increase in heavy precipitation events in recent decades, with seven of the top ten years for these event occurring since 1995.
http://www.wunderground.com/climate/extreme.asp#Header1_2Realismhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02131246238560874173noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14443165.post-8255765763312410782010-02-09T08:37:45.080-06:002010-02-09T08:37:45.080-06:00Let's try that link again.
