Financial guru warns that investments could lose 20 percent of their value

I'm so glad I am trying to be responsible and take money out of my pocket now so that I can have it later.
I'm starting to think I need it much more right now.
Since I would be better off putting money under my bed than investing it and since I could be dead long before I"m 65 what the hell am I saving it for...
