The "science" is not settled...
By Bob Unruh© 2008 WorldNetDaily
More than 31,000 scientists across the U.S. – including more than 9,000 Ph.D.s in fields such as atmospheric science, climatology, Earth science, environment and dozens of other specialties – have signed a petition rejecting "global warming," the assumption that the human production of greenhouse gases is damaging Earth's climate.
"There is no convincing scientific evidence that human release of carbon dioxide, methane, or other greenhouse gases is causing or will, in the foreseeable future, cause catastrophic heating of the Earth's atmosphere and disruption of the Earth's climate," the petition states. "Moreover, there is substantial scientific evidence that increases in atmospheric carbon dioxide produce many beneficial effects upon the natural plant and animal environments of the Earth."
The Petition Project actually was launched nearly 10 years ago, when the first few thousand signatures were assembled. Then, between 1999 and 2007, the list of signatures grew gradually without any special effort or campaign.
But now, a new effort has been conducted because of an "escalation of the claims of 'consensus,' release of the movie 'An Inconvenient Truth' by Mr. Al Gore, and related events," according to officials with the project. "Mr. Gore's movie, asserting a 'consensus' and 'settled science' in agreement about human-caused global warming, conveyed the claims about human-caused global warming to ordinary movie goers and to public school children, to whom the film was widely distributed. Unfortunately, Mr. Gore's movie contains many very serious incorrect claims which no informed, honest scientist could endorse," said project spokesman and founder Art Robinson.

The global warming bandwagon has lost a wheel and is quite empty (for people with Ph.D's, for those of you are in the religion of global warming..)

Gore gets a cold shoulder
link
ONE of the world's foremost meteorologists has called the theory that helped Al Gore share the Nobel Peace Prize "ridiculous" and the product of "people who don't understand how the atmosphere works".
I'm going to keep posting story after story after story after story of more and more and more and more scientist stating that algore is full of crap.
Jim and Hash and all the other liberals can sit there with there fingers in their ear saying "la la la, I'm not listening, algore is God, if you don't agree with him you are an intolerant, uninformed neocon, la la la."
You can worship at the alter of algore, I'll stick to debate, actual science and common sense.

Critics slam Nobel winner
THE award of the Nobel Peace Prize to Al Gore and the UN's top climate panel on Friday has prompted a fresh chorus of criticism from global warming sceptics -- with one dubbing the award "a political gimmick".
I'm not even talking about the fact that his movie was full of lies and half-truths...
What the hell does a movie about global warming have anything to do with the Nobel peace prize?
Yes, I'm sure crazy people who believe global warming will kill us all in 10 years will say that stopping global warming will stop wars that will happen due to no drinking water and famine...
I'm talking to sane people...this is an insult to anyone who actually does work to make peace in the world...

Rewind: Gore Blasts G.H.W. Bush for Ignoring Iraq Terror Ties
I just love stuff like this. Shows how Democrats say whatever it takes to get elected....whatever will be the best for their careers and poll numbers.
video here
Now liberals, don't come here with the "Repubs do it too" crap...defend Gore...

To crazy liberals, Gore is GOD!!!
Visitors to the Gaia Napa Valley Hotel and Spa won't find the Gideon Bible in the nightstand drawer. Instead, on the bureau will be a copy of ``An Inconvenient Truth,'' former Vice President Al Gore's book about global warming.
Which one requires more faith?
If we can make algore a religion somehow, maybe the percentage of Democrats who go to church would increase...

Some great questions awaiting Gore
Algore is going to capitol hill to gain support for all of his global warming ideas.
Drudge has advanced copies of questions some committe members might ask...
How would you answer these libs?
Mr. Gore: You have said several times that we have 10 years to act to stave off global warming. Was that 10 years from the first time you said that or 10 years from now? We just wanted to get a firm date from you that we can hold you to.
Mr. Gore: How can you continue to claim that global warming on Earth is primarily caused by mankind when other planets (Mars, Jupiter and Pluto) with no confirmed life forms and certainly no man-made industrial greenhouse gas emissions also show signs of global warming? Wouldn’t it make more sense that the sun is responsible for warming since it is the common denominator?
Mr. Gore: Joseph Romm, the executive director for the Center for Energy and Climate Solutions, has said we must build 700 large nuclear plants to stave off climate change. Where do you stand on the need for nuclear energy?
Mr. Gore: Do you think the earth is significantly overpopulated and that is a major contributor to your view of climate change. (If yes, what do you think is a sustainable population for the planet?)

From a Rapt Audience, a Call to Cool the Hype
This one comes from the NYT...
It simply states common sense and the obvious, environmentalist need to take a breath and calm down. It is not a 100% FACT that global warming is caused by humans or even as big a deal as they claim it is. It is amazing that "scientist" would try to silence any other research that goes against global warming. We need as much information as possible about the subject, so that we can actually do something about it that works, if anything needs to be done at all.
Liberals love to just DO things, whatever feels good. But maybe SOME people want to actually know what, if anything, is going on. That way, they can actually solve the problem.
I know it is hard to understand for a liberal, they have never come up with any idea or program that fixed anything....isn't that a sad fact.
Work on your next big disaster that everyone needs to worry about...

Gore's 'carbon offsets' paid to firm he owns
Critics say justification for energy-rich lifestyle serves as way for former VP to profit
Here is just another story showing how flat out stupid this whole justification actually is.

Mars Melt Hints at Solar, Not Human, Cause for Warming, Scientist Says
Simultaneous warming on Earth and Mars suggests that our planet's recent climate changes have a natural—and not a human- induced—cause, according to one scientist's controversial theory.
Its only "controversial" because it uses common sense, logic and actual statistically significant facts...Which is something the sheeple who drool as they roam around adhering to every word algore says.
Once again, the earth is slowly getting warmer (lately). Scientists are taking 100 years of data and trying to say that is a significant sample size when, even if you believe the bible, the earth is at least 7,000 years old. 100 years out of 7,000 years is very, very insignificant.
Also, anyone who believes that humans have the power to control our climate have a huge superiority complex.
Then when you add the crazy, wacko stuff we have been hearing from gore it makes me wonder how you liberal environmentalist wackos can even tie your shoes in the morning without an email from algore about how you can buy your way out of your carbon footprint....lol.
Great line from one of our readers....based on algore's stupid logic, a woman can commit murder, but it is okay as long as she gets knocked up....yes.
Also, if we the oceans are going to rise 3 or 4 inches, why are we trying to save New Orleans? They are doomed. Just some logic to throw into all the insanity of global warming.

POWER: GORE MANSION USES 20X AVERAGE HOUSEHOLD; CONSUMPTION INCREASE AFTER 'TRUTH'
Here is the actual data if you want to look. I know it is not emotional, touchy feely stuff that liberals like, this is the facts...this is what your environmental savior actually does. It shows what hypocrites liberals are....They are smart enough to tell eveyrone else what to do, just too good to do it themselves. I saw some pathetic loser crying at the Oscars when this ass was talking....

Gore’s mansion, [20-room, eight-bathroom] located in the posh Belle Meade area of Nashville, consumes more electricity every month than the average American household uses in an entire year, according to the Nashville Electric Service (NES). In his documentary, the former Vice President calls on Americans to conserve energy by reducing electricity consumption at home. The average household in America consumes 10,656 kilowatt-hours (kWh) per year, according to the Department of Energy. In 2006, Gore devoured nearly 221,000 kWh—more than 20 times the national average. Last August alone, Gore burned through 22,619 kWh—guzzling more than twice the electricity in one month than an average American family uses in an entire year. As a result of his energy consumption, Gore’s average monthly electric bill topped $1,359. Since the release of An Inconvenient Truth, Gore’s energy consumption has increased from an average of 16,200 kWh per month in 2005, to 18,400 kWh per month in 2006. Gore’s extravagant energy use does not stop at his electric bill. Natural gas bills for Gore’s mansion and guest house averaged $1,080 per month last year. “As the spokesman of choice for the global warming movement, Al Gore has to be willing to walk to walk, not just talk the talk, when it comes to home energy use,” said Tennessee Center for Policy Research President Drew Johnson. In total, Gore paid nearly $30,000 in combined electricity and natural gas bills for his Nashville estate in 2006.
