I know some of you do not understand this, but unlike the racism claims made of anyone who opposes Obama's socialism, this is a clear case of a black man not wanting a white woman to win an award over a black woman.

I work in this community, I talk to the people, they tell me what they really think.
They do not consider it racism, they just feel that its fine to always support a black person over any white person in vertually every situation because they are themselves black.

There is a huge cultural divide in this country.
I just think it is interesting that no one is willing to even bring up race at all in this case, yet scream and yell and jump up and down with claims of racism anytime Obama is criticized.

See, certain people yell racism and say we need to get past race, but they are the exact same people who make EVERYTHING about race and require people to "act" the way they are expected to.
Just a side note, I am defending Michelle Obama...yes, me, the partisan hack who takes my orders from Rush and Sean...maybe Rush will say this same thing today on his radio show, I got the pre-show email this morning.
The point of all this...people should be judged and treated as....PEOPLE. It's great to celebrate the uniqueness of all of us, but in general people should not be expected to wear black designer clothes because they are black, or vote for a black guy because they are black. We are a free people who hopefully can make our own decisions.

I was reading voting trends of inner city residents, and blacks vote for the black candidate 90% of the time, sometimes all the way up to 95%. Why doesn't anyone comment on the fact that one group of people in this country vote solely based on the color of one's skin. Evil white conservatives get yelled at for doing this, but it is clear which group actually does it. Of course the answer is PC.

Conservatives, what is the actual definition?

African-American firms get less work

Conservative idea:
The people who do the best get the work.
If one group is not working at a level that is acceptable and causing them to not be successful, then they need some help learning and getting the skills to be successful

Liberal idea:
Minorities are not getting enough________ (insert anything), the govt should just give it to them.
Minorities are not getting enough contracts, create racist policies that force the city to give them contracts, if they are capable of doing the work or not.

I think the choice is clear. Provide help for women and minorities to achieve a work ethic and quality level that allows them to become successful. If they do not want to work hard enough or do what it takes to be the best, then you can't get the rewards.

Liberal policies reward being lazy. They reward you for being a minority, and that is all.
Don't have the skills, who cares, we will just GIVE you what you want.
Don't want to do the work, so what, the govt will give you what you want anyway.

Yet Hash and Jim don't understand how failed liberal social programs create a permanent underclass of people who don't want to work hard and gain the skills necessary to get ahead.

In the weeks after an unstable stripper — or, since this is not a Hollywood movie, "a stripper" — accused the players of rape, Nifong stated on national TV: "I am convinced that there was a rape." He called the players "hooligans," contemptuously sneering that their "daddies could buy them expensive lawyers."
None of the DNA matched any Duke lacrosse players, who are starting to look like the only adult males in the Durham area who haven't had sex with Mangum.
Nifong has tried to portray himself as simply making "mistakes." This is absurd. Not even a half-wit like Nifong could have believed "something happened in that bathroom," as he said during his disbarment hearing last weekend. He was willing to send three innocent men to prison to improve his electoral viability in a heavily black district and to become a liberal hero in Manhattan salons.
Admittedly, Nifong studiously refused to take a peek at the evidence. On March 29, 2006, he told reporters he knew a rape had occurred based on — I quote — "my reading of the report of the emergency-room nurse." That report was not given to the police until April 5, 2006, making it the equivalent of the forged Nigerian letter Joe Wilson claims to have debunked eight months before it surfaced at the CIA.
The media love to drone on about the explosive combination of "race and sex" — and they'll wait forever for a single non-hoax case to prove it! In fact, the truly explosive combination is "liberal" and "mediocrity."
