ABC News' George Stephanopoulos reports: Democrats' attacks on her family's wealth are unfair and offensive, Cindy McCain said today in an interview airing tomorrow on "This Week with George Stephanopoulos."
"My father had nothing. He and my mother sold everything they had to raise $10,000," she said. "I'm proud of what my dad and my mother did and what they built and left me. And I intend to carry their legacy as long as I can."
See, Dems only like success stories when people are taken out of the gutter by govt programs...The problem is that almost never happens, so they get mad when people can do it on their own. Their congrats is higher taxes and snobby comments

It only matters to you...you are the ones who get on McCain for being out of touch because his wife has money...If Obama lives in a house valued around 200,000...then he can talk about understanding the common man
um, obama comes from common, working class background, educated himself, and worked among the poor and disadvantaged in chicago.
sidney is the son of a navy admiral and the grandson of a navy admiral. he went to college for free. he's served in the military but never in the private sector. he's been in congress since he ended his military career. he's been paid by taxpayers and eligible for taxpayer financed healthcare his entire life. he dumped his first wife for a wealth heiress.
it doesn't matter how much obama's house is worth, not one bit.
look, if sidney had had the sense to answer the home question with something like we have one in arizona, one in the dc area, a vacation home and some investment properties, he probably wouldn't be hearing about this. but he left himself open partially because he wasn't quick enough to answer the question smartly.
he's gotten a pass on dozens of gaffes. it just so happens he's not getting a pass on this one.

the difference is, it's not unusual or abnormal to most americans, for another american citizen, born in this nation, to own property, particularly if they've been involved in american politics, and have a demonstrated commitment to the nation and her interests

barky, on the other hand, was evidently born out of wedlock in another nation, most likely indonesia or kenya, and refuses to produce an authentic birth certificate that would prove otherwise
