Guiliani and Palin....WOW!!!!!!!

I actually was able to watch both speeches, and I was flat out energized.
Guiliani hit for the cycle, a grand slam, threw a no hitter and and a perfect game.
They both attacked Obama with non-PC, hard core truth and reality..

some of my favs from Rudi:

When he was talking about all the changes in opinion and policy Obama has made, he warned Biden to make sure he got that VP thing in writing.

He talked about how McCain said on day one of the Georgia/Russia conflict that we are all Georgians and must take a stand vs Russia...he then went through the three day process Obama went through saying both were morally equal, then talked to 300 advisers, then said the UN security council needed to come up with something...Rudi reminded Obama that Russia as veto power on that council...next time you need advice on foreign matters...just call John McCain...

talked about Obama voting "present" over a hundred times...Rudi wished he could vote present as mayor, and he bet Palin didn't know about this "present" vote...Obama, is voting "yes" or "no" too hard?

I guess to Obama, Palin's home town and state are not cosmopolitan enough...

Now some of Palin's great lines:

Being the mayor of a small town is kind of like being a community organizer, but with actual responsibility.

she brought up how Obama said one thing about small town Americans in Scranton, then said they clung to guns and religion in SF...great non-PC line...But that McCain will say the same thing no matter who he talks to

Obama is a man who wrote two memoirs yet has not written a single significant piece of legislation...

If they keep this up...Obama is toast...

It was a couple of excellent speaches!

It's been hilarious to watch CNN's reaction. They have no clue! The initial reaction was "reserved" but as the night goes on, more and more "inside the beltway" pundits are stepping up to trash the speeches.

And it is oh, so obvious, that they haven't a clue! They actually have fooled themselves into believing that their world-view matches "regular" America.

I'm currently watching Larry King's "Democratic response" These people are so far removed from real America, that I once again have hope.

hard core, far-right elements of republican party was embarrassed of John McCain and had no clue what to do during this election. Palin gives them a good reason to jump back into action!! And, Palin threw a lot of redmeat last night for sure!! :) :)

However, my initial thought was...she would try to get Hilary's base to vote for McCain. I'm not so sure after last night's speech though.

What annoyed me was....she talked as if it was someother party that ruled us for the past 8 years!! It was her own party that dug such a deep hole and stuck in there!

Not a word on healthcare, failure in Iraq, mounting debt, outsouring!! All I saw was red meat for who had no passion or energy to support John McCain.

Game shows us again that passing the buck is a suitable substitute for personal responsibility.

"Iraq is going very well" - How nice. Are you going there for next vacation?

I'm glad you guys sound this stupid...keep it up. There is NO WAY McCain should win, and it looks more and more like he might...
Based on history he should lose by atleast 10 points...lets see if the far left wing empty suit blows it harder than he blows hard drugs

Hey Willy,
If we have won the Iraq war, what are we doing there still with full force? Can you please explain? (Let's see how smart you are!!)

Thanks for your advice on Canada. Just curious - are you visiting Iraq for ur next family vacation?

Anon again demonstrates his cluelessness.

How long were we in Japan and Germany after winning WWII?

You have no sense of history, proving why you support failed socialist programs.

I’m just curious. Exactly how many times has the Obama’s adopted a child that was mired in poverty, or had special needs?

Oh, I see, the Gov’t can take care of all, but don’t dare ask B. Hussein to put his “money where his mouth is”.

“Do as I say, not as I do” and all that jazz.

So very, very, typical

Blamin writes - "you support failed socialist programs."

I have proven the point of failed liberal social programs very often and never to be refuted...You can call it talking points...but it is a fact and I live it every day I come to work.
