US Weekly is a credible source of information only for those who are interested in the crap heap of celebrity gossip that fills it, which unfortunately is a big part of the population....so even though they have no political credibility, a lot of people will believe what they say...

Who reads these tabloids for 'information'? lol

I suppose Palin could have avoided two-thirds of that headline had she not abused her power in office and not lied repeatedly about things like opposing the "bridge to nowhere."

Sarah Palin, 2006: "We need to come to the defense of Southeast Alaska when proposals are on the table like the bridge, and not allow the spinmeisters to turn this project or any other into something that's so negative."

And: "I think we're going to make a good team as we progress that bridge project."

And, in direct response to a debate question about that bridge: "I do support the infrastructure projects that are on tap here in the state of Alaska that our congressional delegations worked hard for."

That's hardly "Thanks, but no thanks." When the Republicans lost big that fall and the bridge became a symbol of all that was corrupt, the she took the money and spent it on something else instead.

This isn't even a hard call, Game. She's lying through her teeth.

well Jay...if you are right that sucks I guess...
I am way to busy at school and in my personal life right now to really research that...but you seem to have it here...
if you didn't just get that from a lib site and there are lots of things missing from it.

No Jay, as usual, you don’t have all the ”relevant” facts.

The original proposition had Alaskan’s in charge of “the bridge”. Subsequent proposals put all the choices in the hands of Washington Bureaucrats. Like she said, “If we want a bridge, we’ll take care of it ourselves”

You can’t fault her for that, unless you’re one of the elite who believe that Washington bureaucrats have all the best answers, kind of like O bama’s total campaign!

Blamin is right. Being for a bridge before being against it while keeping the money is true reform.

Who would believe Jay? I've read his blog. Nothing but opinions from disgusted victims...
