With GWB back, it makes me think about all the things that "outraged" liberals just two years ago

So liberals, answer a few things for me...
You were soooo "mad" at Bush for his spending, where is the outrage now?

You were soooo "mad" about Gitmo, but now it is okay?

You wanted an end to the wars, what happened to the stories in the paper on a daily basis on soldier deaths?

Answer is that most of you really could care less about any of those things.  It was just a way for you to attack Bush..
If I am wrong answer why these things do not matter anymore

We "liberals" spend so much time debunking the lies of you wingers, we hardly have time to complain about Gitmo and the Afghan war. But we are disappointed that Gitmo is still populated by untried prisoners.

As for spending, the reason we're not complaining about current spending is that we feel that the stimulus is needed to avoid a deeper recession, which it is doing, though not well enough because it wasn't big enough.

If people don't have jobs, there is less demand for goods and services. If companies are holding on to cash, there is less demand for goods and services. The government is the last resort to create demand that will employ people. We understand that it is temporary but necessary. We also see that the loans to the auto companies are paying off.

Go to any liberal blog and you'll see plenty of complaints about Obama. Where were YOUR complaints about Bush when he was NOT funding tax cuts, NOT funding the Medicare drug program, NOT funding the Iraq war?

Sooo, hows the purposeful devaluing of the dollar going for ya? Get back with me in about 6 months after massive inflation. Then again, maybe the newly elected "People's House" can put on the breaks.

"If people don't have jobs, there is less demand for goods and services"

A blinding flash of the obvious, even for one such as yourself.

" If companies are holding on to cash, there is less demand for goods and services."

Pray tell, why do you think "companies" are holding on to cash? Could it have just a wee to do with uncertainy in future gov't action and tax policy?

"The government is the last resort to create demand that will employ people."

Spoken like a true statist! Let's see if I've got this straight, take money from the job providers, inefficeintly recycle at cents on the dollar, create temporary "make busy" work, and hope and pray that in the meantime those whom you took money from will create real jobs with the reduced resources they have remaining.

"We also see that the loans to the auto companies are paying off."

Isn't it amusing that the one major US automaker that is not only producing the best product, is also the only one showing profit, all without the help of dollars printed out of thin air.

I'm still trying to figure out why Barbara Bush carried around a jar with her aborted fetus in it for 10 years. Ask Lawrence Wilkerson what he thinks about the book.

It is interesting to contrast all the Obama-haters with the Bush-haters. Not much difference between Cindy Sheehan and the Tea baggers.
