McCain offers $300 million for new auto battery

I'm one step closer to being an actual McCain supporter and not just a BHO hater...

I thought of something like this two months ago...but it was a little different.
I said the first car company who can make a car that runs with NO oil, is safe and cost effective doesn't have to pay taxes for 5 years.

See, here is McCain giving another actual idea toward a solution to a problem.
That is much different than BHO who just spews out 1970's Carter and dirty hippie talking points that didn't solve anything in 1970 and they will do nothing now.

McCain plan: drill now while trying to get new technology
BHO plan: Raise taxes and bitch.

Comrade McCain's idea is a gimmick. Science isn't magic; we can't force technological progress with government Scooby Snacks, just like we can't force progress with legislation and litigation.

McCain says economics isn't his strongest area of knowledge. I agree.

Free markets outperform government bureaucracies because they do not subordinate everyone to universal comprehensive plans. Markets decentralize power and allow fluidity, variety, adaptation, and improvement. Technological progress occurs by the accumulation of chance events where environment and genius combine, and a free society maximizes the opportunities for such events to occur.

To see McCain now pushing ethanol makes me want to barf. This is just more bullshit that will raise my cost of living. If Obama was even marginally competent on national security matters I'd vote Barr. McCain has been a big disappointment, if not an embarrassment.

I love this idea from McCain. This is the kind of things we need to be doing. Excellent, Excellent..drilling..not so much.

Obama, no plan..not true..I haven't heard him say anything I like this well yet though. The dirty hippie talking points didn't work cuz Reagan KILLED them when he took office kid.

Ron,

Exactly what is your problem with drilling, while simultaneously developing alternate sources of energy?

Shouldn’t we encourage our industry to cover all “bases”?

BTW, what is this “The dirty hippie talking points didn't work cuz Reagan KILLED them when he took office kid.” you speak of? Please enlighten, I can hardly wait!
