Wisconsin State Fair day 3: Saturday August 2nd

Main Stage Review:
Blake Shelton gave the 4000 fans of the Main Stage at the Wisconsin State fair a heck of a show Saturday night. He has the hits, and "Austin" is one of the best country songs around. Blake has the fancy stage set up, expensive lights and the sort, but it is hit great songs that make the concert a good one. Besides that it was the first night of country at the State Fair and it was so nice to be around courteous and friendly people all day. Everyone says please and thank you. Blake even said "Thank you sir" as he left the stage Saturday night because I put a flashlight on his exit ramp. The fans listen well, they have fun and they are a pleasure to interact with.
I didn't get to see Jams Otto, but I was told that he did a great job and might have even sounded better than Blake.
Otto's band spent a good hour and a half working out backstage, I suppose to burn off all the calories in the beer they all went to drink (Otto and Shelton) at Paulie's Pub after the show. Otto also went out onto the track and signed autographs for anyone who wanted one. It was great for the fans, but I don't think Otto's manager was happy because that is supposed to be a time for Otto to make some money from fans buying pictures and CD's...most just took a picture or had him sign what they had on them.

Today was the day I ate my way through the fair. Corn dog, cream puff, baked potato and Saz's to name a few. I was there for 3 hours with my wife and one year old son, and we need to go back because we simply could not see everything. The fair way packed and it should be...fun for everyone with perfect weather. The best 11 days of the fair continue.
