WASHINGTON – AARP’s endorsement helped secure passage of President Barack Obama’s health care overhaul. Now the seniors’ lobby is telling its employees their insurance costs will rise partly as a result of the law.


In an e-mail to employees, AARP says health care premiums will increase by 8 percent to 13 percent next year because of rapidly rising medical costs.
And AARP adds that it’s changing copayments and deductibles to avoid a 40 percent tax on high-cost health plans that takes effect in 2018 under the law. Aerospace giant Boeing also has cited the tax in asking its workers to pay more. Shifting costs to employees lowers the value of a health care plan and acts like an escape hatch from the tax.

Because Obamacare destroys health care for all, forcing the govt to come and save the day.  They will have to raise the shit out of taxes to pay for health care that cost more and is worse coverage..

When you all get the new conditions of your health insurance and you have higher premiums, co-pays, and less services..post it here..maybe we can educate a few who haven't got it yet..thought we were getting better and cheaper health care?..and thanks Dems for costing 130 more people their jobs...

Dems need fabricated support for socialized medicine

You want to talk about total hypocrisy...liberals are shouting how all these people at town hall meetings are just an "angry mob" and are organized by Rush Limbaugh. First of all, that is completely insulting to the American people to have Dems calling people with a legitimate concern an "angry mob"

Hypocrisy number one: When dems get together and protest it is patriotic, it shows a ground swell of support...when conservatives do it it is an angry mob of crazy nazi's

Hypocrisy number two: When conservatives show up on there own..or even with some planning it is not real support...when liberal unions send out members to places they do not even live to try and stop people's voices from being heard there is nothing to be said.

This is really a good time for the liberals here to show they actually do have some integrity and condemn the White House and these unions for 1) demeaning over 50% of Americans who do not like Obamacare 2) for criticizing Republicans going too meetings in their home towns while not saying a word about organized union reps being sent out all over the country.
