No Churchgoing Christmas for the First Family

Is there anything wrong with this?
I would say no...IF..IF..

Obama and other Democrats didn't pretend to be religious, church-going, God-fearing people.

It is clear that anyone who needs their President to be actively religious can not vote for Obama.
They just can't
When he did go to church it was at a racists church who hates America
When he talks about religious people me mocks them and looks down at them
And he doesn't go to the most important mass of the year.

We all know that Dems have to pretend they are something they are not to get elected..we know that..but lets not get fooled again American, okay?

Founding fathers wanted us to be free OF religion, not free FROM religion

I am not sure why liberals hate religion so much and want it taken out of public life. Government represents the will of the people. It represents their beliefs. Even though liberals have been successful at removing a great deal of religion from public life, it is unnatural and is not the way our founding fathers wanted it.

Morons come on here and can't even say who they are, make stupid claims with no facts, hoping that their wish to not look at any religious symbols or thoughts in any government building someday comes true.
Maybe its the fact that liberal thought needs to be free from religion, otherwise you would feel pretty damn guilty when you analyze what your failed social policies have done to the morality of the people you pretend you want to help.

Here are some great examples of religion in our government:
A stained glass window of George Washington praying, in the chapel in the U.S. Capitol

A phrase from Lord Tennyson in the rotunda of the Library of Congress

Moses with the Ten Commandments inside the Supreme Court's courtroom

An excerpt from Virginia's Statute of Religious Freedom, authored by Thomas Jefferson, on the wall of the Jefferson Memorial

An excerpt from Abraham Lincoln's second inaugural speech carved into the interior of the Lincoln Memorial
That is just a small percentage. That does not even include all the writings of our founding FATHERS. This country NEEDS to remember what our founding fathers thought. Maybe we shouldn't be afraid of religion. Instead, use it as a guide like they did. That would not allow us to keep allowing large amounts of people to remain without any skill, responsibility or sense of civic pride. That would be a good thing as well

Muslims tell Christians: 'Make peace with us or survival of world is at stake'

More proof of how we are at war with Islam.
We can pretend we are not at war, but they are still going to try and destroy anyone who does not conform to Muslim ideas and law.
It is happening all over the world. Anywhere there are enough Muslims they are at war with Christians.
It's a fact of life. We can run around calling it the religion of peace, and be wrong.
I don't know what it would take for some of us to realize what is going on...hopefully the Western world figures this out before it is too late.

Pelosi defends refusal to put "God" on flag certificates

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi today defended the Architect of the Capitol's refusal to permit use of the word "God" on official certificates enclosed with flags flown over the U.S. Capitol.
Dayton-area GOP Rep. Michael Turner and more than 100 of his Republican colleagues sent a letter to Pelosi last week after an Eagle Scout in his district asked that a flag flown over the U.S. Capitol be sent to his grandfather with a certificate inscribed with the message: "In honor of my grandfather Marcel Larochelle, and his dedication and love of God, country, and family."
The boy and his father contacted Turner's office after noticing the word "God" was left off the certificate included with the flag.

I don't understand why Democrats are so outraged by God. Our Founding Fathers had God's name all over the place.
So who do you think is right. Republicans who say Separation of Church and state simply means the govt cant tell people what religion they have to be, or Democrats who have taken God out of everything, even school.
I'll go with the Founding Fathers, common sense, morality and a decent society.

Scorn poured on James Cameron's 'coffin of Christ' theory

This could be HUGE...but then it would be just like when Jesus came and the Jews said he wasn't the one.
If this is Jesus or not, "scholars" will say it isn't, otherwise it is the end of a religion...at least if you are someone who takes the Bible literally.
I myself see religion and the Bible as nice teaching to live by and pass down to your kids...I don't know or care if any of it really happened...
