Nevada Voters Complain Of Problems At Polls


Some voters in Boulder City complained on Monday that their ballot had been cast before they went to the polls, raising questions about Clark County's electronic voting machines.
Voter Joyce Ferrara said when they went to vote for Republican Sharron Angle, her Democratic opponent, Sen. Harry Reid's name was already checked.
Ferrara said she wasn't alone in her voting experience. She said her husband and several others voting at the same time all had the same thing happen.
"Something's not right," Ferrara said. "One person that's a fluke. Two, that's strange. But several within a five minute period of time -- that's wrong."

Voter reports problem with ballot machine


A Craven County voter says he had a near miss at the polls on Thursday when an electronic voting machine completed his straight-party ticket for the opposite of what he intended.
Sam Laughinghouse of New Bern said he pushed the button to vote Republican in all races, but the voting machine screen displayed a ballot with all Democrats checked. He cleared the screen and tried again with the same result, he said. Then he asked for and received help from election staff.
“They pushed it twice and the same thing happened,” Laughinghouse said. “That was four times in a row. The fifth time they pushed it and the Republicans came up and I voted.”

Voters See Illegal Voting As More Common Than Legitimate Voters Being Denied Their Rights

So 50% of people think that there is much more voter fraud than someone being denied their right to vote, with only 25% thinking it is the other way around.

Minnesota's Missing Votes

So Dems find ballots in cars, duplicate ballots, but watch as the media gets all over Coleman if he tries to fight back.
Another lesson learned that Repubs should cheat like Dems to win elections...
I guess they don't because there is not a wide-spread acceptance at winning at all costs on the right.

Funny Business in Minnesota

Strange things keep happening in Minnesota, where the disputed recount in the Senate race between Norm Coleman and Al Franken may be nearing a dubious outcome. Thanks to the machinations of Democratic Secretary of State Mark Ritchie and a meek state Canvassing Board, Mr. Franken may emerge as an illegitimate victor.

Mr. Franken started the recount 215 votes behind Senator Coleman, but he now claims a 225-vote lead and suddenly the man who was insisting on "counting every vote" wants to shut the process down. He's getting help from Mr. Ritchie and his four fellow Canvassing Board members, who have delivered inconsistent rulings and are ignoring glaring problems with the tallies.
Under Minnesota law, election officials are required to make a duplicate ballot if the original is damaged during Election Night counting. Officials are supposed to mark these as "duplicate" and segregate the original ballots. But it appears some officials may have failed to mark ballots as duplicates, which are now being counted in addition to the originals. This helps explain why more than 25 precincts now have more ballots than voters who signed in to vote. By some estimates this double counting has yielded Mr. Franken an additional 80 to 100 votes.

This is shameful and wrong. But, here are Democrats not really caring about the integrity of elections, just winning. Now, liberals can come here and talk about another case, but we are talking about this one. Frankin and other liberals are flat out stealing this election. There is no other way to put it. I would love for a liberal to come on here and speak intelligently about why this is not disenfranchising voters.

Minnesota Ripe for Election Fraud

Minnesota is becoming to 2008 politics what Florida was in 2000 or Washington State in 2004 -- a real mess. The outcome will determine whether Democrats get 58 members of the U.S. Senate, giving them an effective filibuster-proof vote on many issues.
When voters woke up on Wednesday morning after the election, Senator Norm Coleman led Al Franken by what seemed like a relatively comfortable 725 votes. By Wednesday night, that lead had shrunk to 477. By Thursday night, it was down to 336. By Friday, it was 239. Late Sunday night, the difference had gone down to just 221 -- a total change over 4 days of 504 votes.
Amazingly, this all has occurred even though there hasn’t even yet been a recount. Just local election officials correcting claimed typos in how the numbers were reported. Counties will certify their results today, and their final results will be sent to the secretary of state by Friday. The actual recount won’t even start until November 19.

Seattle TV station finds 23,927 felons eligible to vote, according to state records

The State of Washington spends millions of dollars on a computer system designed to review voter registration data, and weed out ineligible voters. Sounds like a great idea, right?
Only one problem: There’s no provision in the system for identifying felons whom a court has deemed ineligible to vote.
Seattle TV station KIRO contracted for an independent, third-party cross-check of the state computer system’s voting records. Their findings? 23,927 convicted felons, ineligible to vote according to federal law, yet cleared to vote in the upcoming election as far as the State of Washington is concerned.
What else did the station’s investigation discover? 6,812 of the 23,927 have already voted in Washington state elections this year.
The Secretary of State boasts that the system has already eliminated 40,000 “dead, duplicate, underage, and non-citizen voters” from the states voter rolls. Yet, he admits, the felon issue “is a problem.”
“It’s almost impossible to track,” says Washington’s Secretary of State. It would require state employees to compare database voting records to paper-format court records and transcripts of judgments. (Translation: “It’s too hard.”)

A Milwaukee resident was charged Monday with election fraud, the first charge in an investigation into voter registration workers who submitted fake names to the city in what a complaint says amounted to a quota system.According to the complaint, Endalyn Adams is accused of submitting dozens of fake names and addresses as a registration worker paid by the Community Voters Project, one of two primary groups under scrutiny.Adams is one of 49 cases that City of Milwaukee election officials submitted to the Milwaukee County district attorney's office for review.Nearly all of those submitted were workers for the Community Voters Project (CVP) or the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN).In the case of Adams, the complaint states, the Voters Project officials flagged 28 problem names from Adams for city election officials.Read the complaint
