Obama keeps Bush’s Defense Secretary

Here is the thing..
I like that Obama understands he can't do anything he said during his campaign since now he is making better choices in some cases...
But this specific story makes this whole Presidency and all the sheeple in the media look like complete morons.
You had Obama and liberals spewing the complete lie that McCain is just like Bush, which is hilarious to those of us who can get over 100 on an IQ test, or are not one of the 97% of Obama supporters who know nothing about Obama...
So McCain is a war monger like Bush, Obama is going to get make sure we leave Iraq...but now he shows signs he will not leave, Iraq TODAY voted to keep us there for 3 more years (another blow to liberals on this site that want the world to hate us), I know people going to Iraq that say there is NO WAY we can leave for atleast 16 months, and now Obama keeps Bush's main war guy...
I don't mind Obama using his brain for the first time in his political career, but boy is he making you liberal supporters look like idiots.

Obama chooses sharp-edged Emanuel as staff chief, signaling switch in temperament as president

Barack Obama is signaling a shift in tactics and temperament as he moves from candidate to president-elect, picking sharp-elbowed Washington insiders for top posts.
His choice Thursday for White House chief of staff - Rahm Emanuel, a fiery partisan who doesn't mind breaking glass and hurting feelings - is a significant departure from the soft-spoken, low-key aides that "No-Drama Obama" surrounded himself with during his campaign. And transition chief John Podesta, like Emanuel, is a former top aide to Bill Clinton and a tough partisan infighter, though less bombastic than the new chief of staff.

Look, I am not going to be like all the liberals have been for 8 years with Bush...I WANT HIM to do a good job, I would LOVE to agree with him...I will look at his decisions on a case by case basis...which is the exact opposite of the disgusting way liberals treated W the last 8 years.

However, here we are, seeing that Obama is likely to be exactly what I said...he is a far left wing party hack who has never, ever, at any time shown he is a uniter, never shown he can reach across the partisan divide and bring people together.

I would love to be wrong, but even in my limited career following politics I can see this one coming a mile away. It's kind of sad you old fart Dems keep getting fooled time and time and time again...
I guess only time will tell...

Obama's 95% Illusion

One of Barack Obama's most potent campaign claims is that he'll cut taxes for no less than 95% of "working families." He's even promising to cut taxes enough that the government's tax share of GDP will be no more than 18.2% -- which is lower than it is today.

It's a clever pitch, because it lets him pose as a middle-class tax cutter while disguising that he's also proposing one of the largest tax increases ever on the other 5%. But how does he conjure this miracle, especially since more than a third of all Americans already pay no income taxes at all? There are several sleights of hand, but the most creative is to redefine the meaning of "tax cut."
For the Obama Democrats, a tax cut is no longer letting you keep more of what you earn. In their lexicon, a tax cut includes tens of billions of dollars in government handouts that are disguised by the phrase "tax credit." Mr. Obama is proposing to create or expand no fewer than seven such credits for individuals:
- A $500 tax credit ($1,000 a couple) to "make work pay" that phases out at income of $75,000 for individuals and $150,000 per couple.
- A $4,000 tax credit for college tuition.
- A 10% mortgage interest tax credit (on top of the existing mortgage interest deduction and other housing subsidies).
- A "savings" tax credit of 50% up to $1,000.
- An expansion of the earned-income tax credit that would allow single workers to receive as much as $555 a year, up from $175 now, and give these workers up to $1,110 if they are paying child support.
- A child care credit of 50% up to $6,000 of expenses a year.
- A "clean car" tax credit of up to $7,000 on the purchase of certain vehicles.
Here's the political catch. All but the clean car credit would be "refundable," which is Washington-speak for the fact that you can receive these checks even if you have no income-tax liability. In other words, they are an income transfer -- a federal check -- from taxpayers to nontaxpayers. Once upon a time we called this "welfare," or in George McGovern's 1972 campaign a "Demogrant." Mr. Obama's genius is to call it a tax cut.
The Tax Foundation estimates that under the Obama plan 63 million Americans, or 44% of all tax filers, would have no income tax liability and most of those would get a check from the IRS each year. The Heritage Foundation's Center for Data Analysis estimates that by 2011, under the Obama plan, an additional 10 million filers would pay zero taxes while cashing checks from the IRS.
The total annual expenditures on refundable "tax credits" would rise over the next 10 years by $647 billion to $1.054 trillion, according to the Tax Policy Center. This means that the tax-credit welfare state would soon cost four times actual cash welfare. By redefining such income payments as "tax credits," the Obama campaign also redefines them away as a tax share of GDP. Presto, the federal tax burden looks much smaller than it really is.
The political left defends "refundability" on grounds that these payments help to offset the payroll tax. And that was at least plausible when the only major refundable credit was the earned-income tax credit. Taken together, however, these tax credit payments would exceed payroll levies for most low-income workers.
It is also true that John McCain proposes a refundable tax credit -- his $5,000 to help individuals buy health insurance. We've written before that we prefer a tax deduction for individual health care, rather than a credit. But the big difference with Mr. Obama is that Mr. McCain's proposal replaces the tax subsidy for employer-sponsored health insurance that individuals don't now receive if they buy on their own. It merely changes the nature of the tax subsidy; it doesn't create a new one.
There's another catch: Because Mr. Obama's tax credits are phased out as incomes rise, they impose a huge "marginal" tax rate increase on low-income workers. The marginal tax rate refers to the rate on the next dollar of income earned. As the nearby chart illustrates, the marginal rate for millions of low- and middle-income workers would spike as they earn more income.
Some families with an income of $40,000 could lose up to 40 cents in vanishing credits for every additional dollar earned from working overtime or taking a new job. As public policy, this is contradictory. The tax credits are sold in the name of "making work pay," but in practice they can be a disincentive to working harder, especially if you're a lower-income couple getting raises of $1,000 or $2,000 a year. One mystery -- among many -- of the McCain campaign is why it has allowed Mr. Obama's 95% illusion to go unanswered.

There it is. Obama wants to take from those who pay all the taxes and flat out send a check to people who pay little to no taxes. It punishes anyone who wants to move up and make more money. It doesn't give tax cuts, it gives credits.

The good news: Obama will not be able to push through all the credits
Bad news: He will still let the Bush tax cuts expire and EVERYONE's taxes will go up...the more you make the more they will go up.
So get ready America...
You put Obama in with a Dem House and Senate and you are going to see a full scale recession. The solution will be to take away more of your money so the govt can solve your problems of not having enough money.

1 VOTER, 72 REGISTRATIONS

A man at the center of a voter-registration scandal told The Post yesterday he was given cash and cigarettes by aggressive ACORN activists in exchange for registering an astonishing 72 times, in apparent violation of Ohio laws.
"Sometimes, they come up and bribe me with a cigarette, or they'll give me a dollar to sign up," said Freddie Johnson, 19, who filled out 72 separate voter-registration cards over an 18-month period at the behest of the left-leaning Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now.
"The ACORN people are everywhere, looking to sign people up. I tell them I am already registered. The girl said, 'You are?' I say, 'Yup,' and then they say, 'Can you just sign up again?' " he said.

Here is the group BHO was a big part of...When you try to look for actual accomplishments of BHO, you really can't find any. All you can find are groups he was apart of, and most of those seem to be corrupt, dishonest and dirty. And we are not even talking about the people he hangs out with.

Obama/Biden lies of the week

Just trying to keep you straight with all the positive "change" Obama is bringing to politics:

An Obama radio ad is wrong: McCain still supports federal funding for stem cell research.
An Obama-Biden radio ad hammers McCain for being opposed to stem cell research. Not true.
By saying that "John McCain has stood in the way – he's opposed stem cell research," the Obama ad seriously misstates the view that McCain has held on this issue since 2001, when he began backing embryonic stem cell research, a position that was out of step with that of many of his fellow Republicans.
Here we see McCain being an independant...which makes the stupid, pathetic comments of liberals that McCain is just another Bush more embarrassing for anyone with a brain.

next...

A MoveOn.org Political Action ad plays the partisan blame game with the economic crisis, charging that John McCain’s friend and former economic adviser Phil Gramm “stripped safeguards that would have protected us.” The claim is bogus. Gramm’s legislation had broad bipartisan support and was signed into law by President Clinton. Moreover, the bill had nothing to do with causing the crisis, and economists – not to mention President Clinton – praise it for having softened the crisis.

Obama-Biden ad misrepresents the Social Security plan McCain supported.
Again.
An Obama-Biden TV ad once again twists McCain's position on Social Security.
It claims he backed a "plan to risk your Social Security in the stock market." In fact, the plan McCain endorsed in 2005 would have been voluntary, and workers could have put only one-third of their Social Security pension fund taxes into private accounts.
The new ad also asks viewers to imagine "your future retirement benefits" invested in Lehman Brothers, AIG or Merrill Lynch, three firms that collapsed recently. In fact, the accounts in the plan McCain backed could not have invested in any of those stocks directly. They would have been allowed to invest only in a few government-run stock or bond funds with risks spread over many companies and industries..

From the debate:
Biden wrongly claimed that McCain “voted the exact same way” as Obama on the budget bill that contained an increase on singles making as little as $42,000 a year. McCain voted against it. Biden was referring to an amendment that didn't address taxes at that income level.

Biden wrongly claimed that McCain had said "he wouldn't even sit down" with the government of Spain. Actually, McCain didn't reject a meeting, but simply refused to commit himself one way or the other during an interview.

Could I make a post of McCain and Palin stretching the truth...yes...However, Obama is the man of "change" He is above old politics...
Actually, he is as liberal as you get and his hand is stuck in dirty politics all the way up to his elbow.

Biden Calls Obama Attack Ad “Terrible”

Hey, you have to give Biden props for being honest
Obama is running a dirty, run of the mill far Left wing campaign.
There is no change, nothing different.
I didn't expect BHO's running mate to be the first with the balls to make the call
Hey MSM, take some notes...

Obama: Politics as usual...September edition

Of course you could say McCain has ads that stretch the trouth...but BHO is better than that!!!!
He is for CHANGE!!!
The fact is he is a tired old hard core liberal politician...same as all the rest of them...NO CHANGE WHATSOEVER...

First some lies about Palin from liberal bloggers:

Palin did not cut funding for special needs education in Alaska by 62 percent. She didn’t cut it at all. In fact, she increased funding and signed a bill that will triple per-pupil funding over three years for special needs students with high-cost requirements.
She did not demand that books be banned from the Wasilla library. Some of the books on a widely circulated list were not even in print at the time. The librarian has said Palin asked a "What if?" question, but the librarian continued in her job through most of Palin's first term.
She was never a member of the Alaskan Independence Party, a group that wants Alaskans to vote on whether they wish to secede from the United States. She’s been registered as a Republican since May 1982.
Palin never endorsed or supported Pat Buchanan for president. She once wore a Buchanan button as a "courtesy" when he visited Wasilla, but shortly afterward she was appointed to co-chair of the campaign of Steve Forbes in the state.
Palin has not pushed for teaching creationism in Alaska's schools. She has said that students should be allowed to "debate both sides" of the evolution question, but she also said creationism "doesn't have to be part of the curriculum."

A new Obama-Biden ad includes misleading claims about McCain and education spending:
It says McCain "voted to cut education funding" and lists five votes. But one was a vote for increased education funding, although for fewer dollars than what Democrats may have wanted. And three others were votes against additional funding, not votes for funding cuts.

Warning...that is a trick of the left...they say you are cutting something when you vote to not raise it as much as they want...
The ad says that "McCain's economic plan gives $200 billion more to special interests while taking money away from public schools." Not exactly. McCain has proposed a one-year freeze on discretionary spending in general. A freeze would mean that funds would not keep pace with inflation and population growth, but no dollars would be "taken away." The $200 billion for "special interests" refers to the cost of McCain's proposal to reduce the tax rate for all business corporations, not just a few "special" ones.
The ad says McCain proposed abolishing the Department of Education. He did once say in an interview that he "would certainly favor" abolishing both the departments of Education and Energy, but he hasn't pushed for either.

Biden proved once again that it doesn't take outright falsehoods to create a skewed impression of one's opponent. We found in a Sept. 15 speech that:
Biden used partial quotes to support his charge that McCain wouldn't help "small borrowers" suffering in the mortgage crisis but would "fight for those that lost their ... real estate investments." In fact, McCain's full quote said he would also fight for those who "lost their jobs" and "savings," and he has proposed assistance for homeowners. Biden should be ashamed of himself for doing something like that.
He said McCain called Sen. Webb's GI Bill proposal "too generous." McCain never used those words. He did support a less-costly version of the bill.
Biden repeated several other talking points that we've previously critiqued for their spin, including the accusation that McCain would give $4 billion a year in tax cuts to oil companies.

Obama's lying ad about McCain and friends:

He tries to say Rush Limbaugh called Mexicans stupid. Now, how can someone with a soul make an add like this unless they are so incompetent they don't know the ad is a complete lie.

Limbaugh says the ad takes his words out of context, and that he did not call all Mexicans "stupid." In an opinion article in the Sept. 19 Wall Street Journal, he calls the ad's sound bites "a deception." He says the "stupid" quote comes from "a 1993 humorous monologue poking fun at the arguments against the North American Free Trade Agreement."The actual words, according Limbaugh, are these:
Limbaugh, 1993: If you are unskilled and uneducated, your job is going south. Skilled workers, educated people are going to do fine 'cause those are the kinds of jobs Nafta is going to create. If we are going to start rewarding no skills and stupid people, I'm serious, let the unskilled jobs that take absolutely no knowledge whatsoever to do -- let stupid and unskilled Mexicans do that work. We'll leave it to readers to judge how humorous that might or might not be. But those words do fall short of calling all Mexicans "stupid and unskilled" as the ad says. Limbaugh says his point "which is obvious, was that the people who were criticizing Nafta [sic] were demeaning workers, particularly low-skilled workers."

and the final lie of the month so far:

A new Obama ad characterizes the "Bush-McCain privatization plan" as "cutting Social Security Benefits in half." This is a falsehood sure to frighten seniors who rely on their Social Security checks. In truth, McCain does not propose to cut those checks at all.

This doesn't really look like change at all. He is following the far left liberal playbook to a tee. Say Republicans want to cut everything even when they don't, scare old people, minorities and poor people...

We do need a CHANGE...Obama is far from it.

Obama tells his supporters to get in people's faces

"I need you to go out and talk to your friends and talk to your neighbors. I want you to talk to them whether they are independent or whether they are Republican. I want you to argue with them and get in their face,"

That is what we need!
Lets get the whole country just lashing out, being emotional and out of control...kind of like many of the children and adults that I work with were taught how to act...this is a way to convince others and solve problems.

Personally I don't want everyone to act like this, we still have some civilized people left in this country...I know Obama would like to change that, but that is another reason to stop him.

Records show McCain more bipartisan

In fact, by several measures, Mr. McCain has been more likely to team up with Democrats than with members of his own party. Democrats made up 55 percent of his political partners over the last two Congresses, including on the tough issues of campaign finance and global warming. For Mr. Obama, Republicans were only 13 percent of his co-sponsors during his time in the Senate, and he had his biggest bipartisan successes on noncontroversial measures, such as issuing a postage stamp in honor of civil rights icon Rosa Parks.
Anyone with a clue already knows this...PLEASE post this info everywhere.
I am so sick of the lies Obama spreads to his dead head supporters calling McCain Bush.
Attack him on the issues if you want...but the fact that the best ads obama can come up with are saying McCain is Bush and that McCain doesn't use email shows what an empty suit, void of ideas Obama and his team are.

This also shows how McCain is a TRUE moderate...many Conservatives do not like that...
Dem's...you are so sad and pathetic...the ONE thing McCain is NOT is a hard core conservative.
When info like this comes out and IF the media actually reports it broadly Obama will be done and be the biggest failure in Dem history...and that is saying alot.

Post this on your blog...exposing the far, far left wing Obama with his lack of accomplishments...expose him for what he really is...facts are facts...Dems cant stand that

From a liberals own words

I love the joke that Obama tells in all his ads about how McCain is 4 more years of Bush...

A liberal put it pefectly here yesterday:

Before Palin, the far-right, hardcore guys like you had no energy or passion. Because, you guys just couldn't stand John McCain. As I have said before, he was going against party line on so many issues - torture, Iraq surge, environment, tax cuts, Illegal immigration...on and on!

So who is Obama calling a pig?

Very classy....
No, Democrats, especially Obama would never go negative, no low blows...
Really, this is just stupid.
Obama is scared because more and more people see that McCain/Palin bring about REAL change. They are not the more conservative members of their party...Obama is party line all the way...unless he votes "present"

Obama: McCain-Palin 'lying' about maverick claims

Here is the line that gets me mad:

When John McCain gets up there with Sarah Palin and says 'we're for change'... you've got to ask yourselves, what are they talking about, how do they have the nerve to say it?" the Democrat added.

Okay...lets see. McCain/Palin: McCain clearly says and does what he thinks is right. Obama can run all the ads he wants saying McCain is Bush...but if there is ANYONE who doesn't follow the party playbook its McCain. That is why he gets into trouble with conservatives at times. For anyone to make the simple claim, the intellectually lazy argument that McCain is Bush is in big trouble. I don't like McCain on some issues, and he is not my favorite choice...but I will be intellectually honest and say he CLEARLY stands on his own principles and if liberals stop being intollerant of anyone elses opinion or side, McCain can get something done. And maybe having the first women VP MIGHT be some change.

Obama: Slick, slimy dirty politician. Takes record amounts of money from everyone and anyone. What is he going to change? What is someone who is far, far, far,far to the left going to change? Yes liberals, just type your lies that Obama is moderate or will reach out, or that he is not liberal. When you support partial birth abortion you are a hard core liberal.

Analysis: Biden pick shows lack of confidence

The candidate of change went with the status quo.
In picking Sen. Joe Biden to be his running mate, Barack Obama sought to shore up his weakness - inexperience in office and on foreign policy - rather than underscore his strength as a new-generation candidate defying political conventions.
He picked a 35-year veteran of the Senate - the ultimate insider - rather than a candidate from outside Washington, such as Govs. Tim Kaine of Virginia or Kathleen Sebelius of Kansas; or from outside his party, such as Sen. Chuck Hagel of Nebraska; or from outside the mostly white male club of vice presidential candidates. Hillary Rodham Clinton didn't even make his short list.
The picks say something profound about Obama: For all his self-confidence, the 47-year-old Illinois senator worried that he couldn't beat Republican John McCain without help from a seasoned politician willing to attack. The Biden selection is the next logistical step in an Obama campaign that has become more negative - a strategic decision that may be necessary but threatens to run counter to his image.

Obama says pointed abortion query “above his pay grade”

Asked at what point a baby gets “human rights,” Obama, who strongly supports abortion rights, said: “… whether you’re looking at it from a theological perspective or a scientific perspective, answering that question with specificity … is above my pay grade.”

Obama shows day after day that he is an empty suit who will not be specific on most tough issues.
While McCain was giving specific comments about the Russia vs Georgia conflict, Obama was making vague statements that don't mean anything...wow, kind of like everything he has said from day one.

Here he is again. He can't admit he is okay with partial birth abortion because about 85% of Americans think that is morally reprehensible, so he side steps it, he makes some comment one of his staffers came up with. How can anyone in their right mind want a guy like Obama. He wouldn't visit soldiers because his advisers couldn't come with him. He is a cartoon, he is a joke. If he can't read from the script or be allowed to say worthless comments that might sound good because he says them well.

Keeping Obama honest on his energy lack of policy

Obama released a national ad saying he would "fast-track alternatives" to imported oil. On closer examination, his proposal is to spend $150 billion over the coming decade on energy research. Ten years doesn't sound all that "fast" to us, and there's no guarantee that the research will result in less oil being imported.

Beijing takes dog off the menu for Olympics

So China is using the Democratic playbook for the Olympics.
If you have noticed, Obama has changed just about every stance since the primary because no one would EVER vote for him if he continued his far left wing rants until November. You could say that he has to change who he is to get elected. He has to convince people he is something different than he actually is. He has to fool people so they like him.

China is doing the same thing. They are changing many aspects of their everyday lives to fool the world into thinking they are a different country than they actually are.

Compare:

Obama:
Troop withdraw immediately....I might have to reevaluate my plan after visiting Iraq.
I'll take public financing....I won't take public financing because of 527's that give me twice as many ads as McCain.
Teachers should be paid based on performance of students....pay based on performance is ridiculous.
Wright is my friend...I wasn't at Church when Wright said what he said...Wright can say what he wants but I don't agree with it...Wright should not say that stuff...I no longer want to go to Church where I listened to racist crap for 20 years.

China:
We pollute the Earth, have disgustingly dirty air and water...we will stop polluting and try and clean our water before the Olympics
We like to eat dog...no dog available for two weeks

The sad thing is that both of them will probably get away with it...

Obama tries to change who he is to get elected

As all liberals have to do to get elected to national office, Obama is trying to say he cut welfare (which he didn't) and trying to say he "worked his way through college" I guess in an attempt to show he has the work ethic that doesn't need handouts...

Well, here is the truth..

Obama’s latest ad repeats an often-stated claim, saying he "worked his way through college and Harvard Law.” We know Obama took out loans to get himself through school. But the campaign provided information on just two jobs Obama had in those years, and they were both in the summer.

The ad also says he "passed a law to move people from welfare to work, slashed the rolls by 80 percent." Actually, the Illinois law was a required follow-up to the 1996 federal welfare reform law worked out by President Clinton and the Republican Congress. Welfare rolls did go down by nearly as much as the ad says, but Obama can't claim sole credit.

More politics as usual for Obama

Here is the latest round of Obama being a common politician:

Obama says his health care plan will garner large savings – $120 billion a year, or $2,500 per family – with more than half coming from the use of electronic health records. And he says he’ll make that happen in his first term. We find his statements to be overly optimistic, misleading and, to some extent, contradicted by one of his own advisers. And it masks the true cost of his plan to cover millions of Americans who now have no health insurance.
Obama cites a RAND study that found widespread use of electronic health records could save up to $77 billion a year in overall health care spending. But the study says that level of savings won’t be reached until 2019, when it projects 90 percent of hospitals and doctors would be using electronic records systems.
Much could be done to speed up the adoption of electronic record-keeping. But experts, including the lead researcher on the RAND study, are extremely doubtful the U.S. could see widespread adoption in the first term of an Obama presidency, or even a second term. Even a campaign adviser acknowledges Obama’s plan likely won’t reach the full savings potential until five years into implementation, by which time Obama could be out of office.
Obama says he’ll "lower premiums by up to $2,500 for a typical family per year” by investing in electronic health records as well as other efforts. But his adviser tells us that $2,500 figure includes savings to government and employers that could, theoretically, lead to lower taxes or higher wages for families – so we shouldn't necessarily expect insurance premiums that are "lower" by that amount.
The RAND study on which the campaign partly bases its estimates is one of the only reports available on possible cost savings. It may well be correct – no one knows for sure. But it looks at potential savings in an ideal situation and recently has faced criticism.

Obama announced he would become the first presidential candidate since 1972 to rely totally on private donations for his general election campaign, opting out of the system of public financing and spending limits that was put in place after the Watergate scandal. One reason, he said, is that "John McCain’s campaign and the Republican National Committee are fueled by contributions from Washington lobbyists and special interest PACs."We find that to be a large exaggeration and a lame excuse. In fact, donations from PACs and lobbyists make up less than 1.7 percent of McCain's total receipts, and they account for only about 1.1 percent of the RNC's receipts.

Obama has released his first post-primary ad, a 60-second spot that's airing in 18 battleground states. In effect, "Country I Love" is Obama's first ad of the general election campaign, and as such it invites scrutiny. (FactCheck will address McCain's first general election ads in a separate article.) We don't find this ad egregiously misleading, but it paints a picture of Obama's accomplishments that could leave viewers with a misimpression or two.
The ad talks about laws that Obama "passed," but in fact, he sponsored only one of the three bills mentioned and cosponsored another. The third included provisions from some bills he'd sponsored earlier, but his name wasn't attached to the one that passed. And two of the three laws were accomplishments of the Illinois Legislature, not the U.S. Senate.

So Obama's own first add shows he has accomplished NOTHING as a Senator at any level and he just makes up things to make his own lying and flip flopping look good. Sounds like a below-average politician to me.

Obama opts out of public campaign finance system

Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama said Thursday he'll bypass the federal public financing system in the general election, abandoning an earlier commitment to take the money if his Republican rival did as well.

Obama shows again he is a liar, and it is politics as usual
Let's see how many stories we get about this on tonight's newscasts...
The obvious media bias is really getting sickening...
Did they report on the Muslim women getting tossed out of pictures with Obama yet?
Was it on all the nightly news shows last night?
With fair media coverage Obama would get his ass kicked.

And just read another lame-ass, empty answer from Obama.

"But the public financing of presidential elections as it exists today is broken, and we face opponents who've become masters at gaming this broken system."

Way to say NOTHING again

GREAT response from McCain:
The McCain campaign, in a statement, said Obama "has revealed himself to be just another typical politician who will do and say whatever is most expedient for Barack Obama.
"Barack Obama is now the first presidential candidate since Watergate to run a campaign entirely on private funds. This decision will have far-reaching and extraordinary consequences that will weaken and undermine the public financing system."
