Box Office

This week:
1. Fantastic Four
2. Ocean's 13
3. Knocked up
4. Pirates
5. Surfs Up
6. Shrek the Third
7. Nancy Drew
8. Hostel II
9. Mr. Brooks
10. Spider Man 3

Lets see how my predictions are going:

I said Spiderman would peak at $335 Million...as of today...330..Looks like I'll be right on there
I said Shrek would end at $275 and worried it was too high...today...297...I bit low on my guess there...
I said Pirates would bring in 445 million...and we can see that one is way off (at 273)...So, the best of the "3's" is in last place...it will probably just make it by Shrek in the end...
I guess we have to wait for Transformers to save the day...

'Pirates' sets sail for Hollywood gold in rollicking 'threepeat'

Lets see how much taste the American people have this summer.
There are a bunch of "3's" coming out this summer...and the best film should make the most money, right?
So:
Spiderman was "not very good"...its at $288 million
Shrek is flat out crap.... its at $139

Pirates will be the only good movie of the bunch. How much will it make?
Will it win the summer?
I say
Spider man will end with around $335 million
Shrek will end around $275 million (I am afraid that will be too high)
And pirates will win the day with....$445

What do you think???

Weekend Box Office: Hordes Drive '300' to Record

Top 10 this weekend:
1. 300
2. Wild Hogs
3. Bridge to terebithia
4. Ghost Rider
5. Zodiac
6. the number 23
7. Norbit
8. Music and lyrics
9. Breach
10. Amazing Grace

For once, Hollywood has made a good movie...300 is flat out a good movie. I feel it can teach a lesson to those of us who think that freedom is free and that politicians should sit around talking about how to protect a country...but that is just me...

Wild Hogs is a good movie as well...
