Medical malpractice fund has negative balance

The state's medical malpractice fund closed its books with negative net assets for the last two fiscal years after legislators and the governor drained $200 million from the fund to prop up the state budget, a new audit says.

That's two stories in one week of our Democrat Gov raiding funds to pay for something else...
Its called tax and spend..but Democrats now show they spend MUCH more than they tax
But don't worry, Obama is going to tax us to oblivion...and still spend more

How can you continue to let these people be in charge?

NB 45 bridge through Zoo closed until Memorial Day

So, Democrat Jim Doyle raids the transportation fund every year

Decides to widen the freeway somewhere else instead
Does nothing to fix the most used interchange in the entire state of Wisconsin

Are you people finally tired of letting these people run the state, especially those of you who can no longer get where you want to go?

Doyle's raiding of the transportation fund will cost Wisconsin millions

Zoo Interchange bridges need immediate replacement, inspectors say

Work on the Zoo Interchange was scheduled to start after the I-94 project was completed, in 2016, but legislators from Waukesha County pressed to move up the work in and around their districts. Doyle vetoed additional money that would have advanced the Zoo work in the 2005-'07 budget, then changed course and pushed the project start ahead to 2012.

Work on the interchange was pushed off indefinitely in the 2009-'11 budget, when Doyle and the Legislature allocated only $20 million for engineering and design, one-tenth of the amount requested by the DOT. The final plan on the reconstruction will be finished in June, but no date for construction start has been set.

"It points to the fact that we've had substantial raids to the transportation fund, and if we had proper funding we could have been advancing the projects that needed to happen on a pace that could have prevented this from happening," Stone said. "It's the equivalent of waiting to reroof the house, and ending up with a hole you have to fix."

In the previous three budgets, the governor and Legislature diverted $1.2 billion from the transportation fund and replaced some of the cash by authorizing the DOT to issue bonds. Those actions reduced the transportation funds by about $435.4 million, according to Legislative Fiscal Bureau reports.

Democrats cant control their spending, they use smoke and mirrors to "balance" the budget, now we have to pay for it, twice.

Doyle won't seek re-election in 2010

So does this help or hurt the Democrats?
I think Doyle probably only had a 40% chance of winning this time around.
There are a few factors:
1. Will the momentum continue to shift to Republicans, and will it shift enough to give them big wins?
2. Who will Dems pick to run.

Doyle should donate the money

MADISON – After news broke yesterday that Governor Doyle held a campaign fundraiser instead of helping flood victims Tuesday, the Republican Party of Wisconsin Chairman Reince Priebus, along with conservatives across the state like radio hosts Jerry Bader and Vicki McKenna, called on Doyle to donate the money he raised golfing to the flood cause.“With Barack Obama in the state, Obama’s top campaign staffer, Jim Doyle, gave voters a glimpse of the Democrats’ priorities this year – politics over Wisconsin families,” said Priebus. “Thousands of families spent the day cleaning-up flood damage while Doyle raised thousands of dollars golfing, the least he can do is donate his proceeds to their behalf.”Governor Doyle held his golf outing Tuesday charging $1,250 a person.

Potholes deeper than pockets

Maybe we shouldn't raid our transportation budget every year. And if that transportation fund doesn't cover potholes, it should.

Doyle signs budget, loosens limits on property tax increases

But, Doyle promised not to raise taxes...
He said he was for a property tax freeze...
I'm just going to say it, unless you WANTED higher taxes, if you voted for Doyle, you are a stupid human being.

Home sale fee increase in works

I still have not heard any apology or at least a "your right" from any WI Democrats for what WI Dem's and Jim Doyle are doing.
People like Jay know that it is in the blood, heart and soul of Democrats to raise taxes...so I am going to assume he flat out lied when he defended Doyle against attacks that he would not raise taxes.
It has been proven once again that Dem's lie and act like Republicans to get elected, then go back to high taxes and a complete lack of plan for taking care of crime in an effective way...

And yes, this is a tax increase...

DOT chief's calendar erased

Yes, yes, they were destroyed by "accident."
Sure, I believe that...
Oh, wait, I wasn't stupid enough to believe all of Doyle's lies before the election.
Take a bow Wisconsin, you should be 100% embarrassed for re-electing this dirty, dirty administration.

Doyle's higher taxes and fees: $1.74 billion

To put that number in perspective, it amounts to about $630 for each of the 2.76 million Wisconsin income tax filers for 2005.

Here is the thing...liberals were wrong once again...
Maybe they knew they were wrong all along, maybe they knew Doyle was lying and didn't care...
None of them have the guts or integrity to come here or anywhere and say they were wrong and they voted for a dirty liar who takes bribes from pretty much anyone

Troha tax bills got special attention from state

Transportation office put 2 workers on case of indicted donor's $1 million in charges

It really pisses me off that we have so many idiots that voted for Jim Doyle. He CLEARLY is dirty, he clearly takes money for favors. If you can't see that you have serious mental disabilities.

Budget short of two-thirds ed funding

Madison - Despite Gov. Jim Doyle's public - and repeated - promises that his budget proposal would pay for two-thirds of public education costs, an analysis released today showed that it falls short of that goal.
In a 624-page summary of the budget that Doyle gave legislators last month, the Legislative Fiscal Bureau said the state would pay 65.3% of public school costs in the year that begins July 1, and 65.5% of those costs in the following year.
Because public schools cost about $9 billion every year, each 1% equals about $90 million - money that is tight as legislators begin the process of reviewing Doyle's budget and drafting changes to it. Legislators will act on their version of the budget over the next three or four months.

All you liberal teacher union types are flat out suckers. You stand up for this filthy Governor, then you take it and take it from him and ask for more. It is scary that people that are this stupid to trust Doyle teach our children...

U.S. indicts Doyle donor

With liberals there excuse is that they didn't know, or it was an oversight.
For the group who claims to be superior in intelligence, you guys sure don't know a whole lot.
Doyle doesn't know anything about the story after story after story of people breaking the law all around him.
Hillary and Nancy don't know how to fill out paper work properly...
We just don't see this from the other side...or they are better at hiding it.

Records spur questions in report's delay

Madison - Investigative records raise questions about whether Gov. Jim Doyle's administration delayed the release of a report in apparent violation of the state's open records law so a second report could be written to give Doyle political cover.

The Department of Transportation has already admitted it violated the law by delaying the release of the report in 2004, but newly released documents raise the possibility that Doyle's Department of Administration was complicit in that decision. The administration says it was not.

Reading about how dirty and slimy Doyle is makes me want to take a shower. Dem's are about integrity and honesty!!!! Clean govt!!!

Jay and the other WI libs don't have the balls to come here and admit Doyle is a slime ball
