"Republicans want to kill us"

Paul Begala made quite a few ridiculous comments this week. There was a convention for young liberals in Washington, and Begala was one of the speakers.

Let's remember, when liberals say that Republicans are idiots, stupid, brain dead, ect... it is not even reported in the mainstream media. When a liberal blows his nose and a Republican doesn't say "God bless you" there is a story about how mean spirited and hateful Republicans are. If the Republican then comes back and said "Go bless you in a press conference later on, there is a front page story in the New York Times accusing the Republican of forcing religion down our throats. Don't forget, liberals are tolerant, kind soles. Republicans are evil, mean, and want to kill children.

Lets just go over a few things Paul Begala said at this convention.

"They want to kill me and my children if they can." Lets think about what would happen if Karl Rove would have said that....

"ain't had a new idea since they opposed Social Security, and guess what, they still do. ... They are beginning to figure out that there is no Soviet Union, but they still want Star Wars to stop it," First of all, can someone tell me the last time the democratic party had a new idea...and no, saying the Republican ideas are stupid does not count. Second, liberals definitely know there is no Soviet Union, they cry about it every night before they go to bed. If it were up to people like Ted Kennedy and Hillary, we would be the Soviet Union. Oh, and one more thing, liberals were the ones who said we could not beat the USSR, just like they are saying we can not defeat terrorist.

"Okay, they are utterly and completely brain-dead," He is calling the party that has a majority of house seats, senate seats, and the white house brain dead. Liberals do believe the average person is an idiot and they have to save everyone from themselves. He can get away witih calling a majority of the country brain dead.

In conclusion, I could write a blog destroying each one of these comments. It is the democratic party who has no ideas, all they do is filibuster and shut down the senate. They will say anything it takes to win, and the media helps them. This is not a fair playing field. It is a shame that for the American people to get the truth in a story, they have to do their own research. I have no doubt that if the media was not biases, the democratic party would have to fold. They would not be allowed to spew all this hate-filled speech and then be called tolerant and caring.

They would not be allowed to be called the party of minorities yet have GWB be the president who appointed blacks to his two highest cabinet positions. Last time I checked Clinton "the first black president" had NO blacks in his cabinet and as far as Howard Dean is concerned, the only job blacks can do is be a part of the hotel staff. Isn't that another great story, Dean has almost no blacks on his staff, makes racist jokes, and it is Trent Lott who has to step down. Doesn't seam like a level playing field.
