Wisconsin State Fair Day V: Monday August 8th

The largest mass in Wisconsin history happened at the Miller Lite grandstand Monday night, when around 4500 people attended prayer service. Steven Curtis Chapman really sounded like Creed, which also used to be a Christian rock band.

My problem was not with Steven directly, it was with the Wisconsin State Fair...How could they allow prayers and talking about God and faith in a tax payer funded, publicly run facility. Everyone in Wisconsin endorsed the endocrination of state sponsored religion...Of course I am just kidding.

Now, while the media portrays religious folk as crazy bible thumpers, they portray the inner city as a place where helpless victims live, who are in their plight by no fault of their own.

Well, then why is it that last night, after Jam for Peace, the midway had to be closed down early, fights broke out all over the park after the concert was over, and 911 was called many times due to the fact that hundreds of people were walking around 84th and Greenfield jumping on cars and stopping traffic. I'm sure the man made them do it...Anyways...

In addition, the WSF dart tournament started tonight...

Rob and the game are up one game to zero in a best of three match versus the scorpion and the machine.

Preview for Tuesday August 9th

Brad Paisley at the Miller Lite Main stage 8pm
