Collisions cause brain injury
Read this story about a Hartland Arrowhead football player that suffered brain trauma during a varsity football game.
People get hundreds of times during the course of a football game, and usually nothing happens. This was a freak of nature, but one that changed a families life forever.
This story makes me think about a few virtues everyone should live by:
Live every day to the fullest.
Live every day as it might be your last.
Don't put off for tomorrow what you can do today.
These are all warn out cliches, but they are very true.
You should set out to make a difference in your or someone else's life every day. If you are not trying to improve yourself and make yourself the best person you can possibly be everyday, what is the point?
This young man seems to be a winner. He is working hard, and he will not give up. He will walk again, and he might play football again.
I applaud him and everyone like him. I try and live my life this way, and so should you.
