From the mouths of the soldiers in New Orleans

Just trying to show what part of the problem is down in New Orleans...but I'm sure what these people are doing is George W. Bush's fault too..

"I never thought that at a National Guardsman I would be shot at by other Americans," said Spc. Philip Baccus of the 527th Engineer Battalion. "And I never thought Id have to carry a rifle when on a hurricane relief mission. This is a disgrace."

Spc. Cliff Ferguson of the 527th Engineer Battalion pointed out that he knows there are plenty of decent people in New Orleans, but he said it is hard to stay motivated considering the circumstances.
"This is making a lot of us think about not reenlisting." Ferguson said. "You have to think about whether it is worth risking your neck for someone who will turn around and shoot at didn't We didn't come here to fight a war. We came here to help."

How can you argue with that? How can people like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson say these actions are for survival...we do not need any more excuses and blaming GWB...he is not making people do this...PERIOD.

So, why is the liberal media focusing on GWB? Why not the mayor of the city who didn't follow his 0wn cities evacuation plan:

Louisiana disaster plan, pg 13, para 5 , dated 01/00

'The primary means of hurricane evacuation will be personal vehicles. School and municipal buses, government-owned vehicles and vehicles provided by volunteer agencies may be used to provide transportation for individuals who lack transportation and require assistance in evacuating'...

I am only bringing up this point to show how rediculous it is to go back and point blame at what has happened so far...we should worry about what happens from this day forward...stop sitting there and complaining main stream media...use your big mouths to help suck up some of this water.

It's too bad the "U.W."ron,doesn't have a "mo" in front of his"said" as then we can put the mo-and-ron together to accurately describe his viewpoint.
