When you see such disparity in how one city handles a state of emergency, and how another one does, one must look for the common denominator. One need look no further than the leaders of those cities.

Since this hurricane season ranks as 7th in US history for the most hurricanes, with the # 1 season being in the 1930's.....does that mean that every USA President since that time has completely ignored global warming (which I believe is BS, by the way. I'm speaking hypothetically/sarcastically for the more concrete minds out there. Which, BTW many Dems seem to be suffering from concreteness, aka a lack of reasoning thought prcoesses). When using the left's logic, it would seem that the 1930's Presidents were especially negligent...after all, they had the # 1 hurricane season. This year, with Bush it is only the 7th. Good God, lefty's are sick.
