My father was at a family oriented county fair…and saw a father with an 11 year old son wearing this shirt:
“Meet the fuckers” with GWB and Dick Cheney
The 11 year old son has a shirt on that said…”fuck water, drink beer”
I was just hoping there were some liberals who think this is okay…otherwise there might be a few people who can explain for the clueless why this is not okay.

jim
expected just a little more name calling and hatred from your post...you must have had a long weekend.
With all due respect, I don't believe you will find any name calling nor hate in my posts. I think the possible exception is calling the heads of FEMA and Homeland Security "morons" somewhere, but I don't call anyone in the blogosphere a name. And I don't hate. Anybody. Maybe their policies, but not them.
If you find an example, please cite it, and I'll apologize. Probably. . . Maybe. :-)
I was kidding jim...that is one problem with typing things...hard to interpret emotion
Sorry, guess I'm a little too sensitive sometimes. Must be my liberal side. :-)
It was inappropriate. Nuke him now!
Does he NOT have the right to wear the shirt in a public place?
wow..
for every dick Cheney comment, there might be 3000 liberal rants...
Just this week.
1. Bush hates black people...west
2. Bush is happy democrats are dying...randi Rhodes
3. The leves were meant to break on purpose
4. Soldiers are shooting black people...west again
I could write about 10 for this week alone.
I am not so sure you have a right to wear shirts with swear words in public...the freedom to do whatever you want gets a bit fuzzy when the greater good of the community is affected...
I'm sure the kinds of people that would go to a Bush bashing rally would like to have 11 year olds with swear words on their shirts and drinking beer.
You certainly do have a right to wear a shirt with swear words in a public place. You might get the crap kicked out of you and that would be battery. But subject to the "fire in a crowded theater rule", you can pretty much wear whatever you want as long as it doesn't imply a physical threat to the president.
Bush bashing rally? This week that would be just about any place where two or three people or more get together. Even Novak, Goldberg, and Kristol are into bashing these days.
