Crazy things liberals say

Double Standard part II

I just want to list things liberals have said in the past year or so...I won't even go back very far.
Just think about all these crazy things, and how little attention they were given in the media.
Then I'll list a few things that Republicans have said that have gotten days and days of front page stories from the media.

Crazy liberal talk:
Hillary Clinton says "This administration is waging war on poor children,"

Ramsey Clark stops says "Regime change! George Bush has to go and we have the power to do it. The officials of the [Bush] government shall be removed from office for crimes and misdemeanor; their crime against peace, and for use of torture in Iraq."

Patty Murray (Sen, D, WA) says "He's (Osama bin Laden) been out in these countries for decades, building schools, building roads, building infrastructure, building day-care facilities, building health-care facilities, and these people are extremely grateful. We haven't done that."

Julian Bond says "[Republicans] idea of equal rights is the American flag and Confederate swastika flying side by side."

Bill Moyers says that Republicans are planning "the deliberate, intentional destruction of the United States of America."

Al Gore referred to GOP activists as "brown shirts."

Newsday columnist Hugh Pearson likened the Republican National Convention to the "Nazi rallies held in Germany during the reign of Adolf Hitler."

Chuck Turner, a Boston city councilor, smeared National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice as "a tool of white leaders," like "a Jewish person working for Hitler."

A political flier in Tennessee, depicting Bush as a mentally disabled sprinter, bore the message: "Voting for Bush is like running in the Special Olympics. Even if you win, you're still retarded."

Okay...I'll stop there. The Left constantly makes outrageous comments about Republicans being Nazi's and wanting to kill children. I didn't even put the stuff about Bush blowing up levee's. This should be offensive. The media should report on people saying the President of the United States is a Nazi and likes killing children and black people. However, the crazy Left believe these comments to be true, so they are not reported.

Yet we get comments taken out of context by Bill Bennett plastered on CNNMSNBCABCCBS 24 hours a day.

Rush Limbaugh simply states that he thought Donovan McNabb was getting more attention from the media because he is black. Not the smartest thing to say, but he is not calling McNabb an uncle Tom or "house n_____" like black republicans have been called.

Please show me how there is not a double standard. Just look at all the things said about Rice and Powell over the years. They are black, but don't get the same PC blanket every other black gets....its case closed right there.
