A little bit from ONE of the cities that has banned this billboard:
"This billboard conveys to the students a disturbing message actively promoting gun violence, criminal behavior and gang affiliation, he wrote in the letter to Paramount Motion Pictures Group Chairman Brad Gray.
Why is that billboard bad and this billboard okay?Really, what is the difference....maybe it is that Will Smith is facing the camera? Maybe it is that Will Smith is not a "real" gangsta?
Isn't this censorship? Are we trying to stop a stereo-type from being promoted or stop the truth from being shown? Which is it?

jager...
nice...I laughed at that post for atleast two minutes...then stopped when I saw the Packer score.
Answer: The guys on the Bad Boys billboard are really "good guys" pretending to be police.
1/2 a Dollar is a "bad guy" pushing his reality of being bad.
I have absolutely no problem with the double standard.
glad to see you here pero...sorry I have not been on your sites as much lately...job, coaching, and masters thesis, and wife are taking a toll on me.
Cops are no different than street thugs. Do you realize that police and prison guards score the same on personality tests as the people they are supposed to be guarding? The only thing that changes that is the very 'liberal-ing' of the police forces with stricter standards, and more diverse recruiting pools. Normally, I cringe at the thought of 'liberal-ing' something, but there it seems to work.
Personality tests? What are you smoking, rhyno? Yeah, I know it takes a certain kind of person to be a cop or prison guard, but the vast majority of cops and guards respect the law and are trying to make the world a better place, while by definition, those they're guarding are the opposite. Sure there's exceptions like New Orleans PD, but the presence of exceptions does not prove the generalization false.
Mike M and Poison P are right. It's all in a difference of whether one is on the side of good or evil. Raping, murdering, robbery, molesting children = bad. Policing, and guarding those that commit these sorts of crimes, so as to protect people from those who would victimize society from the perpetuation of these violent crimes = good.
Although the good guys and the bad guys may share the same general personality traits, the BIG DIFFERENCE is in how they DIFFER in the ways they use these sorts of personality traits. The police and guards use theirs to fight against evil (murder, rape, etc.) The inmates (criminals) use their traits to victimize the general public.
That the two opposing forces share the same general traits should not surprise anyone. After all, would you expect a person with the personality traits of being a shy, quiet, timid, fearful person to be able to effectively police and guard criminals who don't hesitate to victimize others by raping, murdering, robbing, etc.? Doesn't make a whole lot of sense.......think about it rhyno. Your logic is messed up BIG TIME.
Sigh, now Game will get another post from rhyno stating that Stephanie Rose is picking on me again, blubber, blubber, blubber.
