Click here to read a story revealing that the Left needs to have people lie to get their point across.
Their arguments are not good enough on merit alone, so they just make things up...and guess what...THE MAIN STREAM MEDIA EATS IT ALL UP.
They love it when someone in the military rips the war or Bush...they don't care at all if it is true...
just a few highlights of this story...
For more than a year, former Marine Staff Sgt. Jimmy Massey has been telling anybody who will listen about the atrocities that he and other Marines committed in Iraq.
In scores of newspaper, magazine and broadcast stories, at a Canadian immigration hearing and in numerous speeches across the country, Massey has told how he and other Marines recklessly, sometimes intentionally, killed dozens of innocent Iraqi civilians.
Among his claims:
Marines fired on and killed peaceful Iraqi protesters.
Americans shot a 4-year-old Iraqi girl in the head.
A tractor-trailer was filled with the bodies of civilian men, women and children killed by American artillery.
He wasn't.
Each of his claims is either demonstrably false or exaggerated - according to his fellow Marines, Massey's own admissions, and the five journalists who were embedded with Massey's unit, including a reporter and photographer from the Post-Dispatch and reporters from The Associated Press and The Wall Street
Journal.
Another example of the slanted playing field...the Left can make things up as their argument, and the press runs with it...people believe it...that is not a level playing field...if there was a level playing field...the Right would have 80 senate seats and 400 seats in the House.

Dude, why do I have to continue saying this? The press will run with anything sensational, regardless of who. The problem is that Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld/Rove are a bunch of lying jags whom the press detest almost as much as they hate the press. That tone was set before the first election. To be colloquial, they made that bed, now they have to lie in it.
you have blinders on if you think the medias hate only pertains to Bush and his admin...it extends to almost all things Right.
NO, I said they hate the whole lot of them way more because 'they started it'. If you want to get all school yard.
Really, rhyno! Because 'they' started it?!
Game, would you please translate the delusions in rhyno's mind?
I need to either drink heavily or fall down the stairs to understand this one...
there is nothing Bush did to deserve the blatant bias he gets...and it has nothing to do with him....it has to do with the media being unable to see things clearly due to thier naatural bias.
This reminds me about how the so-called liberal media took the administration's original version of the death of Pat Tillman hook line and sinker.
And then there was the Jessica Lynch story that the administration sold to the "liberal" media. The media is SO BIASED!
Can't argue with boortz logic:
AFRAID TO SHOOT
When we send troops to fight in a war, the idea is that they kill the bad guys and win the war. But there's some disturbing news from the front...and it may be resulting in more Coalition casualties. Those in the Blame-America first crowd are always quick to condemn our troops when terrorists are killed, or when there is some question about whether the deceased is a terrorist. The left is always concerned about the rights of the terrorist first.
All of this has evidently taken a toll on U.S. and British troops, who are increasingly hesitant to shoot for fear of a court martial. According to a story in the London Times, British troops are dealing with World War II levels of battle stress and troop morale has dropped dramatically. As far as the U.S. goes...there is a new policy in place that is particularly outrageous. According to the new rules of engagement, soldiers can't shoot Islamic terrorists unless fired upon. That has to be reassuring to the soldiers on patrol.
If we're going to get rid of the Islamic terrorists in Iraq, we have to kill them all. Waiting for them to fire before we send them off to see Allah is a dangerous policy. Nobody ever won a war by being nice.
