Since we seem to have our panties in a bunch over wire-tapping terrorists, what about this?
In my opinion, if you don't break the law, this doesn't matter. People don't like it because they know if they do something wrong they are more likely to get caught, but I think thats the real issue.

This doesnt actually DO anything about crime. Its just a control ploy by our friends in the socialist zone. You know guys, your buddies the socialists that you like to say have the mentality of idiots? Oh wait, it involves umdermining an individuals right to privacy...maybe that whole socialism thing isnt so bad. We created the Bill of Rights to counter this exact type of police state, and this exact country. Think about it.
I am not saying I LOVE it, I just never saw the harm for people who do not break the law...I do agree that it takes away a right to privacy...which is not in the constitution.
The Bill of Rights doesnt use the word privacy, it uses other terms that are a part of privacy. Words like unreasonable or illegal search and seizure, and illegal quartering...
