Dateline: Venice, Florida.
300 residents recently gathered to dedicate a statue to Gunther-Gebel Williams, legendary animal trainer of the Ringling Brothers circus, a Venice resident for some 33 years.
Well five PETA protestors showed up saying how he mistreated and beat animals. (I am sure they witnessed said abuse).
Local Sheriff Jim Hanks, said nope, it aint gonna happen. When asked why they would not be allowed to protest he said, and i quote, "Because I said so. Sue me later"
Of course people have a right to protest, but kudos to the sheriff for standing up for common sense. This man was a beloved figure in the community and much of his family was present. They deserved their moment, and Jim Hanks saw fit that they had it.
Peta of course is trying to put up a statue of 12-foot crying shackled elephant. These guys really have no class at all.
That story was so refreshing to hear, someone with common sense not caring about idiots suing and protesting...yes people have rights, but people used to have common sense and common courtesy

The right to protest trumps any 'decency' or whatever else. The sheriff is a prime example of the police thinking its their fucking job to interpret the rules. Plus, those protesters are pussies for not showing up and protesting anyway. I'm not sure who pisses em off more.
That thought process is what makes Lefties look insane to the average person...can't even begin to describe how since you won't get it anyway
THANK THE LORD I am not discernable to the average person. The average person is a fucking moron who wouldnt know shit if someone else didnt tell him what he knows. Whether its religion, politicians or the media, 'average people' get their ideas from some other source. They're tards who cant sputter past one sentence without running out of talking points blathered by some douchebag. I repeat:
The Right To Protest trumps any other opinion. As far as the average person, who cares? The Right To Protest is given to us exactly so that minority opinions can be heard without interference from the gov't, especially shit town sheriffs on a power trip.
Sorry, but you don't have the right to protest and disrupt memorial services and ceremonies. This is the over-the-top, out-of-control, hate and venom spewing that we have seen as typical of leftist moonbats like PETA.

By the way, I don't care much for elitists who think the "average person" is a dummy. Leftists maintain this attitude about what they refer to as "flyover country." Why do leftists also have to resort to name-calling and ad hominem personal attacks in place of debate? No doubt because they cannot win debates on substance in the marketplace of ideas.
I think of PETA with the same respect I think of Anne Coulter...none...they may be on different sides of the fence but they are cut from the same cloth.
Peter, most people aren't dummies. Nearly everyone has a skill set that can place them among the smart knowing people in some way or another. Unfortunately when it comes to politics most people know very very little. Read this story:
