While the editorial page of The Wall Street Journal is conservative, the newspaper's news pages are liberal, even more liberal than The New York Times. The Drudge Report may have a right-wing reputation, but it leans left. Coverage by public television and radio is conservative compared to the rest of the mainstream media. Meanwhile, almost all major media outlets tilt to the left.

I'm not reporting this story to prove my point...because it is very clear that he media slants left, and this blog has explained why on many ocassions.
This is just more proof that the media is biased...just another example to add to the fire. The media is left because many more people vote Democratic...it is in their very being to see things in a liberal light.
This study is done very well and has little weaknesses. I'll continue to show clear examples as they come in. Even though pretty much every story has little hints here and there, it would be boring to sit here and point it out on every NYTimes story. I'll stick with the big ones.

Ok, like I said yesterday, the media tilts towards where ever the story is. There is so much jag-ness going on by Boush and his cronies, that they get a nice fat juicy sotry every time. When Clinton was president, it was the opposite. Remember, there were more negative Clinton stories than there are Bush, most of the time. The difference is that Clinton was smart and cunning. Bush is a feeb.

The right-wing media tells us constantly that the problem with the MSM is that it has a liberal bias. There are, more important biases in the MSM stemming from somehitng called the 'profit motive'. This is why we often see a bias towards the sensational, involving scandal and hopefully sex and violence.
And then there is the Cheap and Easy bias. Thats why political coverage is all about process and horse race, and not about policy.

Anyone notice the MSM coverage of Clinton? For eighteen months, it was all Monica, all the time.

Actually, more of US need to think like this if we are going to survive. Everybody needs to realize this is a critical time in history, and unless we get street tough wise to these special rights liberals, our children our destined to be victims of a very selfish, narrow minded Democrat party. I shudder when thinking about what our grandchildren will have to endure when Democrats regain power. NOT IF, WHEN. I try to stay as optimistic as EH, but it's hard to do that considering....all the stupidity I hear from selfish, special rights, spoiled people. Another reason I believe this is due to the extensive locum tenem work I have done in over 30 states. I worked and lived alongside locals from many different cultures, right here in the USA, and have witnessed firsthand what occurs. It's out of control, and has been for a long time, long before the average Joes who live in one place, thus have a relatively sheltered existence, has been aware of it. And it's always the same old story.....people, including the conservatives, wait until there is a crisis situation before they see what has been occurring, then scream and cry for a cease and desist to this madness.....HELP! STOP IT! This liberal crisis has been going on way longer than conservatives should have allowed. We don't unite as the 'special groups' as Dems do. But it's past the time when we should have.
Hopefully, (since I am 46 years old), I will not have to be around to witness the destruction these self centered liberals' will eventually effect. Perhaps it is not imminent, but it will happen, sooner than most think. I just hope that through similar blogs as Game's, that more and more good people 'see the light', and stop giving in to the childish demands of the Democrats. It's past the time to GET tough and STAY tough! Just say NO MORE!

I agree with Rhyno that some of the problem can be blamed on the fact that negativity and sensationalism sells papers.

This UCLA study seems to confirm that. A Pew Center study done two years ago found that 68% of Americans, including 41% of Democrats, perceived the MSM to have a liberal tilt.
But no...I'm sure you guys know better than UCLA, the Pew Center, 2/3 of Americans, and almost half of Democrats.
