I am sure most of you can not even comprehend what happens in the inner city, the thought process that goes through many of their minds.
They won't help the police and wear "Don't snitch" T-shirts. They walk around in the middle of the street in packs of 30. They block streets in the winter so the snow plows can not go through.
What is the answer to this problem? Another program? Another excuse? I have said now the entire time I have had my blog that the ONLY way to solve the problem of the inner cities is to have a few black leaders stand up and take charge. It will be very hard and take many years...but one day maybe the people living there will stop thinking they can do whatever they want with their time and money. Maybe they will believe that they need to go to school, and get the skills necessary to get a good job. That is not what most believe now. If you want to dispute that, take a look at the crime rates, school drop out rates and test scores of the inner city and compare that to the rest of the state.
I am really sick and tired of bleeding hearts accusing anyone who wants to actually try and solve the problem of being racist. Bill Cosby is an uncle Tom to the Left. Condi Rice, Colin Powell...not real black people. When are some of you on the left going to get sick of this? When are you going to realize YOU are the ones perpetuating this problem. Our country is rotting from the center out...the inner cities of this country are no different than that of a third world country.
RealDebate made a great point...where is Michael McGee Jr.? He is a racist alderman in Milwaukee who raised a stink after two cops asked him to stop sitting with his engine running for over 20 minutes outside a Blockbuster. There were press conferences, charges of racism flying around everwhere....good point RD, where is Michael McGee Jr. when it matters? Where is he when his community needs him to be a leader and stand up against the people who make his entire community look like crap? He is exactly what is wrong with the leadership in the inner city. Looking to throw the race card out whenever he can, never willing to do anything to actually help his people.

Don't slow down the snow plows.
It shows a general lack for social order
