How about just a shout-out for being two of the most influencial people in the world, and not focusing on themselves.

I never said that
No. I am saying that important rich people should get recognition for doing ANYTHING that isnt for themselves. To put yourself and your money on the line is a big step. They deserve it.
I do like Bono because he doesn't just talk trash, he actually tries to do something about it...he is unlike most Hollywood types...
I think it should've gone to the Iraqi citizens.

I agree with Jenna. That would have been a wonderful gesture to make Iraq citizens Time's people of year.
Think about the honor that would have bestowed on them! Think about the encouragement in the form of moral support and recognition about their efforts at democracy that would have given Iraqis!
BUT OF COURSE, LIBERALS WON'T HAVE ANY OF THAT. THAT WOULD BE ADMITTING CONSERVATIVES HAVE DONE WORTHY THINGS BENEFITTING OTHERS. NOT GOOD FOR THE LIBERAL IMAGE....THEY THOUGHT IT BEST TO BURY THOSE GOOD THINGS ABOUT CONSERVATIVES.
