Just think about how WWII was covered....
If this war was covered then, it would be considered this country's most perfectly run war.
We got rid of the bad guys and put in good guys...in about 1/5th the time it took this country to do it.
We have had less casualties in this war than in many single battles in US history. What the hell is she talking about?
Can't you see how it is imposible to NOT have bias in the media...they can not think clearly. That is proven by this story.
How anyone can not see how badly the MSM spins, manipulates and slants the news is beyond me.

Good point. In the Battle of Gettysburg alone, the Union suffered 23.049 casualities, and those who instigated the War of Southern Treason (I'm just messing with you guys) suffered 28,000.
Besides stopping slavery, terrorism, Nazism, ethnic cleansing, Communism, weapons proliferation, and fascism, what has war been good for?

Slavery still exists. Terrorism still exists. Nazism still exists. Ethnic cleansing still exists. Communism still exists. Weapons proliferation still exists. Fascism still exists.

I'm certain you won't deny that war stopped Mussolini, slavery in America, and Iraq from going nuclear in 1981. Intervention would have prevented millions from getting hacked up with machetes in Rwanda in 1994, but what was the humanitarian left has become more like the American Firsters of the 1940s.
Just one more example of liberal thought being wrong. It works like this...a problem occurs...liberals want to "talk." The bad guys use the weakness of the liberals to make gains. It sounds like she is trying to glorify the role of the media in Iraq. And since lots of folks despise their biased reporting about this anyway, so what? Using Jill Carrol's hostage situation as a means to spout off her opinions is pathetic. Well yeah, that would really suck to be a hostage. However, Carroll knew what she was getting into when she accepted this reporting assignment. Those are the risks man, suck them up. Don't be a crybaby.
