I know I keep giving examples of how the media is biased....and maybe it is getting boring for those of you who have a memory...but I just love being right. I have said before that the media is biased because they are simply a vast majority Lefties. They see conservatives as crazy people who are not in the mainstream and need to be labeled. But far left groups are not labeled or given a PC name...read this and I'll highlight the examples:
The broadcast network evening newscasts on Tuesday night refrained from applying any ideological tag to the far-left group of lawyers, who represent terror suspects at Guantanamo and elsewhere, which filed a lawsuit against the NSA's program to eavesdrop on communications between terrorists abroad and people inside the U.S., but none hesitated to place a conservative label on those opposed to Oregon's assisted-suicide law (which the Supreme Court upheld). The network reporters avoided labeling the Center for Constitutional Rights (CCR), which was founded by the radical-left William Kunstler, and whose President, Michael Ratner, declared last month: ÂEvery American should be in political rebellion against the criminals now running this country."
On CBS, Wyatt Andrews related how, in ruling against the assisted-suicide law, former Attorney General John Ashcroft Âwas answering to conservatives pushing the Bush administration to protect life. Andrews added: "This ruling also brought the first big case vote by the new chief justice, John Roberts, who sided with the conservative minority." But, without any labeling, John Roberts reported how Âthe NSA spying program was branded a violation of the Constitution by two civil liberties groups. ABC's Lisa Stark pointed out how Âthe court's two most conservative members, Scalia and Thomas, disagreed with the majority ruling. Anchor Bob Woodruff, however, had teased the newscast: "Two major civil rights groups sue to shut down the Bush administration's secret eavesdropping program." Pierre Thomas made those suing seem innocuous, relaying how the Âattorneys, along with authors, scholars and Muslim support groups, claim unauthorized government eavesdropping will limit their ability to do their jobs." Over on NBC, Pete Williams noted how ÂChristian conservatives today called the ruling dangerous, yet anchor Brian Williams announced how Âtoday, civil rights lawyers filed the first lawsuit to challenge the government's program of monitoring the overseas phone calls of some Americans."
There really is nothing to comment on...just another example of labeling bias.

Are not Scalia, Thomas, and Roberts conservatives? Were they not the minority in this decision?
Are there not numerous people of many "policital persuasions" concerned about the admittedly unreviewed surveillance of Americans including such conservatives as Bob Barr and Republics such as Arlen Spector? If this concern comes from a broad range of political thought, wouldn't this concern be "mainstream"?
A radical founder does not make a radical organization. Our founding fathers were pretty radical.
I think in this case in particular you are making a mountain out of a non-existant molehill.
Of course, this is not a earth shattering event...but I believe it does show (and this is done ALL THE TIME) that there are certain labels put on people and groups. And over time, people start believing it, or thinking they are in the minority for being a part of that labeled group
Ahhh...AAA always takes a trip from A to B, and makes stops at C, D, E, F and G first...
We need more of AAA around here...really..
