How can you keep blaming the teachers...

I heard a story that bus drivers have had it with the behavior of MPS kids on the city buses...
Now, if you take the line that Belling and Sykes take, the bus drivers are incompetent and are not doing their job....
That is what they say of MPS teachers.
Why is it that ANYWHERE there are enough inner city folks, there are major problems...
for example:
1. MPS basketball games
2. Jam for Peace will need to find another venue do to all the poor behavior at the Wisconsin State Fair
3. Gang problems at Summerfest
4. almost all Milwaukee murders are in the inner city
5. Sherman Fest has all but been cancelled....

Who is to blame for all that?
Teachers get blamed because people who can not act like human beings anywhere else in life are all of a sudden going to want to learn to read and write? Give me a break.

Start blaming the community and parents for the poor schools. I can not make a kid do homework. I can not make a kid go to school. I can not make a kid do anything they do not want to do....they live a life of failure due to all the handouts and excuses given to them by their leaders...

Everybody wants someone else to blame, even the teachers. I feel good that I work at a school that hasnt shown me any bad teachers, but they do exist. Unfortunately, they seem to get all the bad press, instead of the bad parents or the really bad MPS administration. Though, you choose to berate the JS all the time, they ran an article 2 years ago were they slammed the way kids were being raised and how teachers were getting the blame for a lot of it.

one article two years ago versus many articles every year against teachers...and I didn't even mention the JS in this post...I talked about Belling and Sykes not having a clue on this issue...don't just make stuff up..

and instead of arguing with me on this, agree that I am correct....unless you believe that it is the teachers fault...and I don't mean the few that suck, I am talking about the institution as a whole...

I was just making an observation. I think most teachers are quite good. The ones that suck just weigh more per person than the ones who are good.

of course there are teachers who suck...just like in any job..

But for people like Belling to say that MPS is terrible because of the cry baby teachers makes me wonder how many other topics he actyally has no clue about...

OMG, they would NEVER say that...and to be honest...

Many of the "true believers" as the intelligent teachers like to call them, really believe all the liberal theories...they really believe there is some strategy to get these kids to be sucessful...now...there luckily are some kids who are good and try hard...but that percentage gets lower every year...

I am very sure that there is only ONE way to fix this problem...black leaders MUST stop blaming Bush, the government and white racists and really go after their own people...it will take a long time...

but the liberal way has not helped, 50 years of handouts and programs has not helped...it would be nice to see if my way worked...

OK, there is more to poor scholarship than being black.

did I say that?
I even said there are SOME good students in the inner city...but VERY few compared to the suburban and rural communities...

And are you going to agree that the inner city is about as bad as a 3rd world country? who lives there?

Why don't you admit this is a big problem instead of arguing "well, some white kids suck too."

the white community doesn't have 60% of its males unemployed...you can continue to ignore the problem or blame others...but if it doesn't change, it will contiue to affect all of us...
