Okay, explain this to me.
The Left drills Bush every time they think he is not working with Arabs, and that his policies hurt our relationships with the rest of the world.
Then, they start yelling because he is going to let Arabs run some of our ports. Because of liberal complaining and pressure, we are not letting Arabs run ports....and because of that, Arabs hate us more....
Still, Liberals are blaming Bush for hating us on this issue.
It would be fun to be able to say ANYTHING and get away with it like Democrats do, if only for one day...

I think the problem stems from a fundamental difference in the way things are considered good and bad in the leftist mind v. rational people. This article is a long read, but well worth it as it's probably the clearest explanation of leftist thought I've ever seen.
Excuse me. The Republics control the Senate and the House and could have had it any way they wanted it. They are the ones who stopped the port deal. Republics have howled as much as anybody on this.
Don't pin this on the Democrats. The Republics decided they couldn't ride Bush's weak coattails on this one so they bailed.
And public opinion was like 70 or 80% against, right? So you are simply Democrat bashing again.
are you not going to admit that the Dem's were all over Bush for this? I was not talking about the Republicans...try and stick to the question...the string of logic I am presenting.
It is clear the Left will take any side at any time....refute the actual post...don't do what liberals always do and bash the Right
I wasn't bashing the Right. I was bashing YOU because you will use the most rediculous statements to bash Democrats or the Left with no logical reason at all. You are blaming the Democrats for being critical of the Bush administration on port deal all the while all the Republics were being critical of the Bush administration on the port deal. That you are yourself demonstrating what you constanty accuse the Democrats of: hypocrisy.

I am trying to form some logic in liberals thought...the right doesn't constantly bash Bush all the time over Iraq and the Middle East...that is the Left..
Therefore, since they think Bush is not sensitive enough, how can they take a racist stance that Arabs can't control ports? The right doesn't play the race card all the time, the Left does...
man Jim, you must have taken super human liberal pills lately. I am making a connection and arguement, showing that it is LIBERALS who are the hypocrates....they teach tolerance, bash the right for racism, claim everything Bush does hurts our relations with everyone...
But they were all over Bush when he did try and not allow the US to look like huge racist...trying to get you to focus on topic is worse then me trying to get a kid with ADD to read war and peace.
I believe the point Game is trying to make is that no matter what Bush does, the Left will be all over him for it. The ports deal is an illustrative example, not the target of the criticism.
Yes, Republicans joined in too, in what was in my opinion an entirely justifiable knee-jerk response to something that looked really bad (even though we know now that the deal was probably kosher). That's not the point though.
