Bush and the Right have been taking a beating lately, but luckily the Lefts darling swings in just in the nick of time to remind us how crazy and far left the Democratic party is.
NO ONE stood up for him on all the talk shows tonight. And just so you are not confused, Chris Matthews and Bill O'reilly are not "the media." The media consists of the people who PRETEND to report the news....all these guys comment on the news. Maybe I'll explain it again later for all the fans on the West Coast.
Keep it up Dems, you have been given the game, you see the end in site, and all you can do is try and give the ball away.

You have to wonder at times what drives these people?
Does Feingold really believe this is a good idea? or is someone whispering in his ear that his base likes it? or that it will make him more popular? or that it will be good for the party? Politicians are a strange breed, aside from a few truly idealistic ones, they're motivated by power...by keeping their jobs and being in the spotlight. I guess that's why I like...oh, I can't remember his name right now, Freshman senator who's putting his foot down on pork spending and doesn't give a rat's behind what his fellow senators think about him... Tom Cobern! That's the one...
Sure, but somebody must be telling him that this will be popular with somebody... I'm familiar with the idea of "bad publicity is still publicity," but... this just seems dumb. Even for a politician. Especially in today's internet world where everything is recorded, copied, indexed and easily found by anyone with an hour and Google. Granted probably 90% of voters won't remember, and maybe that's what he's relying on? Still twisted. Call me bitter over the campaign finance act, but I have a hard time believing he's going to get any support after doing that, since it is so universally hated by both sides.
