Crime is up. Schools are overcrowded. Hospitals are jammed. Houston welcomed a flood of hurricane evacuees with open arms. But now the city is suffering from a case of 'compassion fatigue.'
If you didn't see this coming you really don't have a clue on much in life.
This is a great example of liberalism in failure. People want and like to help. It is good to help. But a vast majority of people who need help are free loaders. They are looking to get the most from doing the least. they are not good people, they are criminals and a drain on society. They will never be "helped" in the way liberals think everyone can...which is a boost and then they get on their feet and contribute.....they never contribute...
And now you can see what happens when there are too many of them. This is what happens in all of society, this is what is happening with this country. Liberalism can be supported when most of the people are hard working and contribute...but when the percentage of losers keeps going up and up...there are less and less to support them. That's what is happening to this country more and more each and every day.
In the case of Houston...it just happened faster...

Another example: Last week in Provo, UT, there was a Katrina evacuee arrested for arson. He set fire to the apartment complex he was being evicted from because his six month free ride from FEMA expired. How's that for grattitude?
Yet liberals all across the board can't bring themselves to call these people the parasites that they are. No word yet if FEMA is going to have to cough up the money for the fire damage. What's the bigger injustice? That someone ONLY gets 6 months free rent in a really nice apartment, then must start paying or leave? Or that a kind landowner gets repaid for his generosity by having his property burned to the ground?
Heh, didnt maire d'chocolate go campaigning in Houston cuz there are so many evacuees, there?
