Just a thought...

Recently conservatives have been speaking at College graduations...
They have been heckled and protested by liberal students and teachers...
Some would say that these liberals are ruining others graduation because they are unable to control their emotional liberalism for a few hours.
No one debates that they CAN protest, but do they have to?
Can they respect the event and not protest?

Compare that to when Bill Clinton went to many, many military events, many on military bases...
I'm sure there were PLENTY of current and former military personnel who despise Clinton, yet they do not protest.
They were showing respect for the office of President and for the event he was at...

It goes both ways, too. If the guy is presenting jag ideas, I would heckle him too. If he is just talking and its not out of line, then everyone should just shut the hell up and get on to the post-grad drinking and fucking.

I'll comment on rhyno then read jay's link...
The people protesting and heckling did so simply because they were conservative...and the two latest...McCain and Rice...they are not anywhere near the far right guys like Coulter or anything

wow jay, that was pretty weak...
there was no pre-planned protest like when a conservative speaks...and 10% booed...that link deserves no other remarks from me..

Many vets would turn their backs when Clinton spoke and most of that was done because of his anti-war activities. I don't know that we Conservatives can claim any moral high-ground on being civil ... we are at a rather low point in history where people don't sit and listen to anyone - perhaps we need more speakers who simply speak to the grads and their futures rather than imposing our present and past on them.

Interesting. I can find no sources whatsoever about Clinton's supposed "anit-war activities". Can you provide them?

This is probably another Republic lie like how Marines supposedly refused to salute him when he disembarked from Marine 1 or Air Force 1. The way Republics hate, bash and lie about Clinton makes the Democrat/Bush relationship seem like a love fest.

Hey anonymous coward, reveal yourself.
Clinton was anti-war in his youth, but I never heard of anyone turning their back on him when he was pres.
