Katie Couric’s Years of Liberal Tilt

Katie is gone...MSM darling...
A nice day to show how liberal yet one more person in the MSM is...
I know, I know....to anyone able to think, it has been proven over and over and over and over and over that the media is liberal, but this story was done so well, I had to post it.

Click on the link to see all the examples of liberalism, I'll give my top 5:

Castro, Charismatic Success Story
"Considered one of the most charismatic leaders of the 20th century....[Fidel] Castro traveled the country cultivating his image and his revolution delivered. Campaigns stamped out illiteracy and even today, Cuba has one of the lowest infant mortality rates in the world."— February 13, 1992.

Good Grief
"Do you think the American people are not ready for someone who is as accomplished and career-oriented as Hillary Clinton?"— To Hillary Clinton, August 24, 1992.

Don't You Just Hate Biased Media Outlets?
"Some people are very concerned about talk shows, radio talk shows in general, of course. Most of them around the country have a decidedly conservative bent. The rap that some people give them is that they reflect the views of a very vocal minority, the extremists in this country, and don’t really reflect the true nature of political debate in the United States. And, as a matter of fact, they tend to be quite divisive and sort of have a bad, a negative impact on the country."— To Oliver North, March 13, 1995.

Colin Powell, Do You Know You’re Just a Token?
"Only four percent of the delegates in the convention hall are African-Americans. Do you feel troubled at all by this, and do you feel used by your party?"— To Colin Powell, August 1, 2000, during the week of the Republican convention.

have to go, only got four...

Thats the best that came out to a top 5? I am not even going to bother reading the rest. Only the Clinton part is legit. Go ahead and ask me why the rest arent, and I will post why.

Ryno. I agree. Not so outrageous and actually something many of us want people to ask.

I don't see anything here presented as fact except part of the Castro thing, and that fact can be easily verified. The rest include BARELY even an opinion. They are just questions, quite legitimate questions, for the most part.

Can you refute that Hillary is accomplished? Can you refute that she is career-oriented?

This is just more "liberal media" BS.

I didn't have time to go over all of the quotes in the article...it is example after example...where is anything that might be considered conservative...

While Clinton may be those things, they are directed and weighted comments meant to bend the opinion of the listener, not just fact reporting like the others are, or asking a legitimate question to find those facts.

wow, way to be objective and use common sense rhyno, I knew you could do it...

If you read all the comments, many of them do just that, they tilt (sometimes slightly) a person or story...it is NEVER tilted to favor the right...that is the point, the point people like ron and jim don't get, or don't want to get...

1) The rest of the comments werent like that.

2) This is exactly why Faux News is NOT a legitimate news source. Its ALL they do.

3) I am always objective. Thats why I swing from one opinion to the next depending on whose commentary I am relating to. Most of the time I dont even present an opinion, just a comment on a particular opinion presented.

take the time to go over the quotes, you have to agree they are slanted to the Left

I was just commenting your top 5. I refuse to look at the rest, if thats the best.

Game, this is a (pardon the pun)game the right plays when talking about the liberal or msm or whatever you choose to call it today.A few comments pulled out of years of work.
The whole idea of a good interviewer is to ask questions the viewer or listener would ask. This seems like what she is doing to me. If they cant defend their position then they shouldnt hold it. The idea that the media gave Bush a pass on the greatest tragedys and lies of our time while they spent every day of Clintons administration beating him on minutae and not the countries business is enough proof for me that the media is anything but liberal.

It's 77 comments, and it shows a pattern...where are 77 comments that are conservative leaning...
and yes, they are questions YOU want to hear, because you are a liberal...

Of course, because of the Con(and therefore completely illegitimate) source of these quotes, there is no mention of any questions she may have asked that Cons would want to hear. That way, all the pundits can pat themselves on the back and suck each others dicks over how right they have been about her and everything they (probably) mistakenly think she represents.

Okay game, case closed. But you still have not convinced me we have a "liberal" media.
