Shocking Call from Jimmy Carter Treasury Employee: Raise The Gas Tax By $3

Well, Jimmy Carter was never afraid to be a real liberal...say what liberals really think...

The Dem's still run around blaming Bush for gas prices, when the problems are taxes, supply and demand.

It is the liberal way to want high gas prices. Gore has written about it, Carter admits it....

Yet they go on TV and blame Bush for something they wish they could do...raise gas prices up and up and up...

Here is ANOTHER example of someone admitting something that people like Jim say liberals don't think...

He was your PRESIDENT...big time lib...but no, he doesn't speak for liberals......right.

Get some balls and admit you love the high gas prices...

Don't put words in my mouth. I didn't say I liked high gas prices.

You, of course, are missing the point entirely. Why am I not surprised?

The point is to decrease demand and encourage conservation and alternative fuels. When people pay too much, they are incented to make these wise choices. When gas is cheap, they just go on thinking that the supply will never end.

An nobody, but nobody is blaming Bush for high gas prices. They are blaming him for not doing anything for the past five years to mitigate the situation, like not encouraging conservation or higher CAFE standards.

I keep thinking about the picture of Bush and the Saudi Prince holding hands.

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO

What does your last comment mean Jim?
Why do you keep bringing up the meeting between Cheney and oil execs Jim?

You are pulling another page of the liberal handbook...just like your boy Russ.

You make comments like your last sentence that are obviously meant to attack and portray a message...but off the cuff just enough you can say you were kidding, just like Russ was kidding, right?

Yes Jim, we need to conserve and we need new sources of energy...

But, and you admitted it here again, liberals think high gas prices are good...which is fine to think...you are probably right. High gas prices lower demand..people conserve more...but what I am saying is tell your party to stop pretending that they are so upset about gas prices...stop using another issue for political gain that they do not even believe in..

they don't believe in low gas prices, so don't run around the country trying to blame the Republicans for it

You can't be cereal. You guys have been preaching that Republicans are controlled by a conspiracy of oil executives and Jews for years. Many Democrats go as far as to tell me we are in Iraq for the oil.

"Why do you keep bringing up the meeting between Cheney and oil execs Jim? ...[Democrats] don't believe in low gas prices, so don't run around the country trying to blame the Republicans for it."

Zing! Preach it, brutha!

"obviously meant to attack and portray a message"

Was he taking too much liberty with your tactics on the blog?

It's nuance. I don't blame Bush for high gas prices. I blame him for not doing anything to reduce the demand for oil.

I don't blame you for not getting nuance. I realize you don't do nuance.

And I'm suggesting with the picture of the Prince and the Intellectual Pauper that your boy Bush may not care about the price of oil (other than for policitical reasons) because he and his dad and their business partners have a long history of being in business with the Saudis.

Sorry if your boy Bush suffers politically from high gas prices. It's really mean that anybody would leverage circumstance for political ends.

Who would do that?

oh, are you talking about us fighting people that attacked us..

oh, you are not used to that, your stupid ass president was too busy getting his dick sucked to do anything about the first WTC bombing or the bombing of the Cole, or bombing of embassy buildings...much better....

Refute anything I just said...

Dems try to blame a hurrican on Bush, response time had nothting to do with Bush, the idiot Dem's running the state are to blame...

I have explained over and over why gas prices are what they are, you haven't been able to prove me wrong once, all you do is complain we need to use less gas...

and people like Cindy Sheehan and the LEADER OF THE DNC...hanging out, wearing shirts leting us know how many troops have died...that is not exploitation, is it?

No I'm talking about using the attacks of 9/11 for political advantage against the Democrats. Max Cleland comes to mind.

The Republics timed the Iraq war resolution to the mid-term election refusing to delay the vote until after the election. The Republics raised the terror alert level everytime Kerry's poll numbers went up.

The White House and Republics use the "war on terror" to claim that the president can break any law he wants. And he does.

And since you are as usual uninformed, Clinton took a lot of action against the terrorists in response to the terrorist acts. He just didn't invade a country that didn't have anything to do with al Qaeda.

The Clinton administration was very active in fighting terrorism. Not enough, not very successful.

But the Clinton administration did more to fight terrorism in a single afternoon than the Bush adminstration did in the entire 9 months from his inauguration to 9/11.

Refute that!
