THE TRASHING OF THE CHRIST

I am confused by this fact:
Why is it okay for the PC liberal media to bash Christianity all the time?
When ANY other group is attacked, the PC liberals run out, yell, scream and protest.
When Christians are bashed, the liberal response is "good"

A few facts about media reporting of a pro-christian movie versus a Christian bashing movie

The DaVinci Code received more of a publicity push from the networks than The Passion of the Christ.

The Passion of the Christ was treated as a social problem – the biggest TV anti-Semitism story of that year – while The DaVinci Code was presented more often as an "intriguing" theory rather than threatening or offensive to Christians

In their push to promote The DaVinci Code, the networks routinely failed to address how the book most offended Christian sensitivities: that Christianity itself is a lie.

While Mel Gibson was attacked and even psychoanalyzed for his religious beliefs, DaVinci Code author Dan Brown and filmmakers Ron Howard and Brian Grazer were never personally examined or challenged about their personal religious beliefs, their willingness to milk controversy, play fast and loose with facts, and offend Christians for personal gain.

1) The movie doesnt isnt offensive.

2) Its presented as FICTION, not a theory.(And saying Passion was anti-Semetic is saying Christians are anti-Semetic, thats why you must have been watching the wrong news outlet...whoops, thats right, Faux isnt real news).

3) Who gives a fuck about anyones sensitivities. Isnt that the Con way? Oh wait, except when its theirs.

4) Its FICTION, not a retelling of "The Greatest Story Ever Told", or some such.

Just compairing how liberal and anti-christian the MSM is...
you didn't refute any of the points...

did you see it?
I did, and it is very hard to tell where the facts of the bible stop, and the made up stories begin...I tried to watch it as a 100% fiction movie, but there are a few facts in there...most of it was pure crap...

As for number three, just comparing the way stories are reported...the liberal PC MSM is very sensitive, that was the point...except in this case...

come back when you can tell me this story is wrong.

I read the book. I did refute your points...all of them. You just are incapable of looking past your own perception. Simple fact is that Its Fiction. Get over it.

Wow, I couldn't agree with anything you said. Passion got huge coverage. I dont think the "MSM" is anti christian at all. Some people are. I for one. I was raised a christian and can not now claim my faith for fear I will be confused with the disgusting theocrats who think their religious beliefs ought to be forced on everyone cuz its the "one way". Either they need to call themselves something else or i do. I will. I'm not a part of the movement that calls its self christian today.
a movie is a movie, i dont usually watch them. all are somebody elses interpretation.
