What DO our taxes pay for?

All we hear about is how the govt, on every single level, never has money to pay for the things we need...

Transit system at ‘critical point

So, we don't have any money for public transportation...

County parks sinking fast

We don't have any money for our parks...our pools, or ball diamonds, nada....

Add in that we don't have enough money to properly run our schools, we don't have enough money to secure our border, not enough money for anything...

Where does all the money go?
When its all said and done, I'm sure I pay atleast $35,000 in taxes a year...why can't I have the grass cut at my park more than once a month?
Why can't I go to the county pool when it is 90 degrees...
Why do classrooms have to use 10 year old books with pages missing from them?
Why can't I get any use out of my tax money?

Cause the govt wastes it...

What do they waste it on:
1. Program after program of handouts and liberal/social programs that allow people to be losers
2. Govt employee sweat pension deals
3.Duplicationon of services
4. Inefficiency of the use of money
5. Special projects that are not needed, but done because of special interests

I'd like you to add more...
Cause I'm pissed that I pay taxes, and get very little benefit for them...
oh, and I forgot about property taxex (how could I do that)
I pay 39K in taxes....
The govt should be spending money to protect us FIRST, they build communities aninfrastructurere, then schools, then quality of life things (parks, ect)

The govt is not a "everythings free store"...
As more and more take, and less and less give, we are in for more and more trouble...

Oh my God game ,,,how about the obvious..300 billion in the cesspool called Iraq! How about the uncompleted projects we paid for there? How about the billions just....missing? We didn't have to cut a penny when it was about rebuilding Iraq but after Katrina we decided we had to cut programs to pay for rebuilding America for Americans. That outrages me! Who calls that "Patriotic"?

By the way, you pay way more in taxes than I even make! Consider yourself lucky.
