In order to use an electrolysis machine, you should use distilled water. Distilled water costs more than gasoline(though cleaner, duh). Nobody will pay that. Now, you can make distilled water from regular water at 20-40 cents/gal over the cost of the water. Thats an approximation over the course of 10 years, and an efficient distiller. That why the car is hybrid gas/water. He needs the gas to run the electrolysis, and its too expensive to run only distilled water.
"100 mile trip = 4oz of water"
Scre that, I'd much rather pay the $3.20/gallon for gas I'm currently paying.

Hey Rhyno, help me out here.....How much does a gallon of distilled water cost?
A gallon of distilled water can cost $5 a gallon. It all depends. In any case, at cheapest, I saw it for $3.20/gallon. I am not sure what the efficiency of the electrolysis motor was. Did I miss it?
I don't think distilled water costs more than a dollar a gallon...
we used to have to get it for class when I was a biology major...I am guessing though...
I can't believe there is not more support for this
I am heading to the grocery store later. I will look.
Wally World sells it for anywhere from .58 p/gal to .79 p/gal depending on where you live. It's all I drink, is distilled water. Was wondering myself where rhyno was getting that up to $5 p/gal stuff.
The one thing that *may* make Rhyno correct on that, is the quality of it -- if it goes through an exact process to make it extra "special", if you will, then yes, it will cost more.
OK, if we learn anything form this, DONT BUY DISTILLED WATER ONLINE. The only prices I could find were from $2-5/gal. I went to the local mega-style grocery, last night, and saw it for $0.89/gal.
You mean you still buy online?
I wouldn't buy a chocolate bar online lol
