Comments about what Ann said:
1. Her message might have some validity, but going so far takes away from her message, and lets the PC media hyperventilate.
2. These women are being used by the Left like Cindy Sheehan was....liberals see them as figures that can not be criticized...Cindy got so crazy that most people eventually did point out that she was an idiot, but it took quite a while...
3. Why is there not so much outrage when liberals want to shoot Republicans right between the eyes, any other of the millions of times each week something is said...
4. Listening to Sean Hannity for about an hour today, many callers thought the same thing I thought...even though she might have went to far, she says things many Americans think, but are too afraid to be arrested by the liberal PC police.
5. These women have a right to say Bush is to blame for 9-11, but why are they not able to be attacked for saying something so stupid? That is the point Ann wanted to make, and maybe she said it this way so people would talk about it. Maybe now people will think about the issue, and not just what she said.

The fact is they are able to be attacked and Anne did it. You saw the result. What people think about it...That's not liberal pc thats America bub.
Well for somebody that trashes "victims" she sure pulls out the victim card a lot.
I agree with the sentiment that Democrats often hide their abrasive comments behind cults of personality. Ann Coulter often isn't much different than these people, though.
Liberals hate Ann Coulter because she has mastered their own game.
very good observation....
liberals should listen to Ann and see how they look ALL THE TIME when they talk
What a load a manure, Jason! Total nonsense.
Take the worst (I'm not including Phelps here) of what conservatives have to offer and equate that with liberals. Nice trick, but it doesn't fly in the real world.
You don't have the guts to just say that Coulter's rantings are vile garbage. Leads one to believe that you agree with her. What does that say about you?
The right rips into Mike Moore like he was the anti christ. I'll be happy to let him and Anne continue to speak and see which one wins the people. Anne spends most of her time talking about the big bad liberals running her life and making her a victim. She lives on the victim card. If she would like to talk policy I would be happy to engage her but she just wants to condemn and display why a cream pie or the liberals that have absolutely no political power are scarrry scarrry things. Shes a coward.
Jim--
I'll say it. Coulter's rantings are vile garbage. Some people think fire needs to be fought with fire; I do not.
I could ask you whether you would denounce Michael Moore's films, but I would rather you denounce efforts to pull American troops out of Iraq before the mission is over. If you are really compassionate about the Iraqis, you'd do this.
In my view, the US military carried out their mission by May of 2003 in spite of an ill-conceived plan pushed by Rumsfeld. Since that time, there is little if anything that the Defense Department or the administration has done that would inspire confidence in their competence.
The mission of the military is not "nation building". Bush himself during the 2000 campaign said that the US should not be engaging in nation building. What he really meant is that we shouldn't be nation building if Clinton was doing it.
The Bush administration blew the entire Iraq deal in the first month after reaching Bagdhad. Not enough troops. He started with too few to begin with and then stopped bringing all of them in once Bagdhad was captured. Without enough troops to control Iraq, the insurgency was allowed to flourish. Now the troops are sitting "shit magnets" for RPGs and IEDs while the Iraqis try to form a government. Maybe some incentive for them to "get with the program" might get them to solve their own poblems and get people to start supporting their government institutions. As long as the US military is in place and has all the power, the average Iraqi is not incented to support what they perceive to be a propped up government. If they have to rely on their own government and their own soldiers to progress, they might actually want to get behind them.
Iraq had a powerful enough military and police force pre-invasion to keep order. When did they suddenly become incapable of learning how to keep order?
Jim, your view is quite similar to mine. I can't tell you if I am rooting for the Shia or the Sunni. Hell from what I can tell its like republicans and democrats..tweedle de and tweedle dumb. I'd rather spend my money on America and that makes me an enemy of our country? People that think like that totally befuddle me. I have no idea except that they see what is happening in far different terms than i do.
The only thing we have to fear, is fear its self. Nameless unreasoning, unjustified terror.
just one observation:
michael more: high school education
Coulter: constitutional lawyer
I am one book behind on Ann (stop adding the e)..."how to talk to a liberal)...really you can not knock it if you don't read her books...there are times she simply rants, but she is so good at remembering things from the past and linking them together...that is the stuff I like...
I guess that is where we differ Game. I love, truly love, history. My focus though is on the future.. A dream of a world without all the hate and division. I like Mike cuz he often makes his point in a humorous way. Ok, maybe it's only funny to SOME people. Like Bill Hicks. It's a free country and Anne and Mike both need someone to by their stuff so they can by baby new shoes...enjoy.
Observation:
Abraham Lincoln: no college degree, self-made man.
Michael Moore: Eagle Scout, self-made man.
why are we putting the "e" on Ann???
are you trying to make fun of her in some way?
*snicker snicker*
yes, it's an evil plot, designed to screw up your blog.
I don't need any help
You got that right.
