Senate Rejects Calls on Iraq Troop Pullout

In an 86-13 vote, the Senate turned back a proposal from some Democrats to require the administration to withdraw all combat troops from Iraq by July 1, 2007, with redeployments beginning this year. No Republicans voted in favor of the plan.

Minutes later, the Senate rejected by 60-39 the proposal more popular with Democrats, a nonbinding resolution that to urge the administration to begin withdrawing troops, but with no timetable for the war's end.

So what does this mean?
It means that the party of Russ drop kicked him in the mouth, that people who agree with Russ and Kerry are super-fringe wacko liberals and not even their own liberal leaning party agree's with them...

The second vote says that Dem's dont' have their story straight...
The second resolution is much easier to agree with, since no one WANTS the troops to stay in Iraq...its just that Republicans also care about a thing called success...

I actually do not understand why all the Dem's didn't vote for BOTH these measures...the polls tell them too...

Oh, and calling what Russ wants to do a redeployment is laughable...where are they getting sent to???? I guess its okay if you are sending them to the boarder or New Orleans.

The irony is that conditions on the ground may allow the United States to remove a lot of troops before the November elections.

Then Democrats will be stuck holding their dicks, since they have all of their eggs in the "I hate Bush, go insurgents! YEEEAGH!" basket.

Here is the most loony of the loons in the Senate:

Akaka (D-HI)
Boxer (D-CA)
Durbin (D-IL)
Feingold (D-WI)
Harkin (D-IA)
Inouye (D-HI)
Jeffords (I-VT)
Kennedy (D-MA)
Kerry (D-MA)
Lautenberg (D-NJ)
Leahy (D-VT)
Menendez (D-NJ)
Wyden (D-OR)

I notice my senator Richard Turbin, the guy who thinks American troops are Nazis, is on there.

Akaka is on there...he has had a bill stuck in the senate for years that tries to allow part of Hawaii to be its own independant country...

Again see previous comment in an above story. Same thing over and over again. Bash liberals no positive plan of your own. No roadmap to victory. Just slam fellow americans. One note gamey.

Conservatives plan...kill terrorist, help democracy flurish in Iraq. Result= many terrorists dead, democracy in Iraq..

Dems talk about how they love democracy and human rights, but want to run away and piss their pants...result, nothing but bitching
