Dude, thats ridiculous. That was 55 million years ago. Plus, the Arctic floor wasnt even at the North Pole at that time. More relevent is the Greenland ice cap.

Game, Scientific American, that well-known Communist tool of a rag, has reviewed 953 peer-reviewed studies from all over the world which conclude that global warming IS real and IS accelerated by humans.
Math and science has come a long way since you were a kid, I guess, but with huge amounts of data and amazing computer modeling, scientists can tell not only what is happening and how it is affecting water, flora and fauna, and weather but also what could be done to slow down the warming if we start now.
Or are you happy to just ignore it all and let great sections of the country flood. If you don't like illegal aliens or hispanics in Minneapolis, you're going to hate it when all us liberals are forced to move away from the coasts and into the midwest.

Dude, the solutions required to do something will require enormous investment, huge progress in technology, burgeoning industries for reducing pollution and greenhouse gasses. Smart people and smart companies will make MILLIONS of dollars solving these problems.
And the oil companies are in the energy distribution business. They are the experts. People will always need energy. The oil companies just need to develop the next generation of cleaner energy products to distribute.
