Taking their ball and going home

In the last two days both Ron and Jim have said they will stop coming here if I continue to bash liberals...
First of all, I like Jim and Ron coming here...it seems all the conservatives who come here typically don't comment, so having these liberals around keeps things interesting...
But you are coming to a conservative blog guys...
I find stories and quotes and present them...you getting pissed says to me that I am right and you can't handle all the quality facts I give....I know you think different.
But is that the liberal way??? When things get to hard, run away, like in Iraq?

UPDATE...I have gotten multiple emails tell me to make sure Ron and Jim do not leave...so I guess you should continue to comment for all of your fans.

to add one more thing...I am very proud of the way debate goes here...it is not like Ron's blog where name calling and personal attacks are all that happens...
and when I did say something about it Ron told me that I am a big boy and should be able to take care of myself...is that not the case for you now?

you are not crazy enough...I think some people like them because they go all the way to the Left...you are too much of a moderate...

I, too, will miss the debate of your two most amusing posts. This
must mean that the "GAME" has shown
himself to be of a more valid point
of view, although your viewpoint is
not nearly as laughable.

If you disagree with liberal policies, I don't have a problem with that. If you disagree with ideas of liberal or Democratic leaders, I don't have a problem with that. If you think that a Kennedy or a Clinton has said something that you disagree with, I don't have a problem with that.

What I do have a problem with is your making stuff up and then saying "that is what liberals say" or "that is what liberals do." It's phoney, it's false, it's bullshit. You've done it again in this post, at least three times. We are not pissed because we can't handle your "quality facts" and your liberal way Iraq comment is another case of phoney, simplistic made-up bullshit.

What I do have a problem with is ad hominem attacks on liberal leaders.

If you want to disagree with Al Gore on global warming, great. Make your case and cite your evidence. But don't call him a raging lunatic.

If you think that eight years of prosperity and booming growth during the Clinton administration was a failure, fine. Make your case and cite your evidence. But don't call him a rapist and a scumbag.

Ad hominem attacks is the tool of those with no argument.

Disclaimer: I'm pretty careful myself about making ad hominem attacks, but before anyone accuses me, I will admit that my criticism of Ann Coulter could be construed as ad hominem attacks. That said, I am happy to debate the merits of her latest controversial remarks if anyone is so inclined.

Game, thanks for the invite. Here is my problem.

1.You and the rests attitude.Perfect example, the post this is attached to. What point did you make except nananananana. Huge egos will never find comprimise and solution..they don't want one. Just another fight to demonstrate their percieved superiority. So the "debate" is really not one, just a waste of time. We are never going to get to the answer.
2.You and yours sheeple attitude and preconcieved notions that you hang on to like you would die and the world would stop if you let it go. I don't need to listen to the radio talking heads cuz it is repeated almost word for word by the sheeple. I prefer at least a few independent thoughts. Which by the way I do hear very occasionally out of jason.
3.There is lots of name calling on this blog..as much as anywhere. Personal attacks are not as common because you guys tend to group your thoughts into "liberal" and "Dem" instead of debating an individual...no matter what is said you cling to that preconceived notion.
Example "pussy liberal" ...It would take a lot of discussion to flesh out all my views on things so don't assume. Also their are two sides to EVERY story. It seems to me like the conservatives are the ones that are full of fear of the scary guys that live in caves and how they will destroy our country if we don't blow up the entire middle east. I want to get the bad guys and my plan is very very similar to how we got al-zawquari. It's a policing type matter. These guys can't destroy America. Only we can do that. I'm not nearly as afraid of them as you are, I'm not for cut and run and I think it is safe to say that most liberals feel the same way. You perceive it as cut and run and fear and nothing will change you and yours minds..I'm willing to stand for preserving my liberty and even die for it, not give it up cuz the scary guys might get us. It's a waste of time if you argue against your cartoon liberal and not the person you are speaking to.

The people that were...that is were on my blog have a reason to feel the way they feel. That is something I am sure you can't understand unless you have been here.
I announce the date and time of the Democratic meeting and when the people come out of the meeting people drive by in pickup trucks with confederate flags yelling profanitys and hateful comments. This is standard procedure for the redneck cowboys here in the wild west. Roswell is a smaller type town and many of these people have lived here all their life. They have no idea that there is any other kind of conservative.
Admittedly many on my blog were quite harsh. It is the only way they can survive around here besides to shut up. Thank God not all have chosen to do so. Thank God my radio show has helped many to feel not guilt and shame but pride for what they stand for. The show is no more so they are on their own and I wish them luck.
That said I eventually got tired of their extremism too and told them that I had nothing to say to them if all they wanted to do was be the schoolyard bully. On MY blog, I said this to them. They don't know any other way to do it. So they have gone away mad.See I make everybody mad!:-)

So this is why I choose not to comment here. I, as a liberal, am comfortable with change. For myself, my attitutes, my country, whatever it may be. I am uncomfortable here because there no reciprocical attitute. Nothing changes one iota no matter what is presented. It is a waste of time, not fear or sulking or whatever you may pretend it to be.

Sorry ron, but I have to disagree with you again...
1...this post had nothing to do with ego...it was actually complimenting you and telling you that I appreciate you coming here.

2...I in no way simply say whatever ANYONE else says...I have shown that many times...but lately I have been able to show that you two guys have a VERY hard time saying anything negative about liberals...even when it is a no brainer...

3. I disagree Ron, we have agreed quite a few times...I really wish you would stop saying that I can not think for myself...if you knew me or anyone else who does know me, you would know how wrong that statement is...

maybe you are right...maybe I say things a bit harsh on purpose to get a rise out of liberals...but I still believe what I write and I believe that most of the time I back it up...

if you chose not to come back that is your choice...but your comments are welcomed and appreciated (usually)...
