I predicted 51-49, counting independents Lieberman and Sanders as Democrats. Dems will pick up seats in Montana, Ohio, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania. They may possibly get Tennessee too, and the only place where I see a Republican pickup possibly happening is New Jersey, though I give the incumbent the advantage in both races.
I'm looking at the numbers today and they look good for the socialists. Brown leads DeWine in Ohio, and McCaskill leads Talent in Missouri. If this holds, the *Dems* will take back the Senate, 51-49.

51-49, with Cheney as 52.
It'll be close, but the Dems won't take it.
Poison, do you know anything about the Constitution? Cheney will NEVER be 52. Cheney can ONLY vote to break a tie.
Article I, Section 3:
The Vice President of the United States shall be President of the Senate, but shall have no vote, unless they be equally divided.
I voted 53-47
dem's pick up two seats, Right 0...anyone who thinks dem's will get 5 or 6 net senate seats is crazy

I'll admit I don't know enough about this to actually vote, so I'll leave my count out of it.
But it was definitely an interesting poll.
Jim, I know exactly what the Constitution says.
Cheney would be the 52nd when a wobbly (R) voted with the Dems......Of course it would make him the 51st vote, but it would still be the 52nd (R)
