High court upholds casino compacts

Okay.
I am not even interested in talking about this ruling...but simply gaming in general.
At least in this state, Dem's want to expand Indian gambling, Republicans seem to want to keep it in check.
I am sorry; I don't see a problem with gambling. Republicans talk about personal choice all the time, and they are correct when they do. But on this issue, they want to play the parent. Am I wrong?
If people want to gamble, let them. Vegas has the best funded schools in the United States because of all the gambling...yet we sit here and have less and less teachers, less and less money all the time.
The casino in Milwaukee has to add on little by little, and can’t become a high class place because of all the restrictions placed on it...
Let the people decide what they want to do. People say that if you have more gambling, there will be more prostitution and organized crime...don't see that happening now..

Its the Con fallacy. They say they want people to have independence, but they really want to control.
