I know for a fact that recruiters from Oak Creek come to MPS sporting events trying to get kids to play sports there.
Three Bradley Tech varsity football players left MPS for Oak Creek just this year.
This raises a very interesting question....Is this moral?
Would these kids be recruited if they couldn't play sports?
The answer is no....because the suburbs find out what no body knows...these kids are harder to teach, and they bring down the WKCE scores of the school district...
So here is what happens...
Kid comes to school and is protected from the coach....If they are a good enough athlete, their behavior problems are overlooked (unless they really go crazy)...
Once their senior year season is over, the first time they act up, they are kicked out of the school district, and MPS is forced to take them back...
Set aside the scenario I just presented....Doesn't this seem wrong?
People hold the suburban schools is such high esteem, yet they pull crap like this all the time.

Scorpion says---
Not only is this horrible, but the
fact is,everyone loses. The kids from Oak Creek get to forfeit their
state track championship, next year's team is in chaos, the transfers lose a year of eligibility, the school gets a bad reputation, and all the coaches are out.Yes,from hearing from the assistant we know, they all knew what was going on,and allowed it to
happen anyway.Still, not something new, been there forever.
Right on, scorp...
