Mexico's leftist party demanded Tuesday that electoral officials recount every vote cast in the country's closest presidential race ever, claiming the balloting was manipulated and renewing fears that its fiery candidate will launch massive street protests if he doesn't get his way.
The campaign manager for Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador made the announcement in a statement read to reporters.
Obrador was ready to admit defeat, but then remembered the tactics of algore in 2000, then went to DailyKos and saw all the Democrats who still claim Bush stole 2000 and 2004. When he realized Gore almost reversed the decision, he called for the protest

Some day your candidate may be denied victory in a very, very close election with questionable results.
I trust you will accept the "official" decision and walk away if Hillary Clinton is declared the winner by the Supreme Court in 2008. Won't you?
well, I already accept that in every big city in the country there is voter fraud committed by Democrats...
If there were voter ID cards issued I think I would have to accept it unless we had tire slashings all over the place by Democrats like we did in Milwaukee
Mexico has a sturdier democratic system than we do. There isnt all the room for graft like there is here. People still think Mexico is all a sham like it used to be, but it isnt. Under the Mexican system, there wont be a question as to who won.
OK, I am waiting for you to ask.
how do you know???
or how?
The details of their system arent a national secret game. You can read up on it anywhere.
ya, they have a great system...the most corrupt govt in the world but they will have honest elections...get real
See, that shows how little you know. Corruption is predominantly in the most rural areas. Way to break the 'US is perfect" Con stereotype, game.
Obrador?
Sounds more like ObraGore to me.

"Some day your candidate may be denied victory in a very, very close election with questionable results."
Like when Kennedy defeated Nixon due to voting fraud in Chicago.
Oh wait, the Republican did the honorable thing and did not challenge Kennedy for the good of the Republic.

You don't mean the Kennedy clan got
away with something questionable?
Let me get a drink of "WATER" to help me stop laughing.Does the use
of Hillary refer to Hillary Rodham,
Hillary Rodham/Clinton,as a simple
Hillary Clinton might be gone by then.Mexico's system is so sturdy that everyone just continues to love living there.
You fall into the same ignarant category, scorp. The democracy system is not the same thing as the financial system. Or are you a communist?
So let's get this straight. The first count of the 2000 Florida vote had Gore losing by a few hundred votes. He should have shrugged his shoulders, said good luck, and walked away? George W. Bush would have done that, right?
trying to get all military votes thrown out was really honorable...and after EVERY SINGLE liberal new organization saw the votes...NONE OF THEM could claim Gore could have won
As is to be expected, both of those statements are untrue. As in wrong.
Under several valid criteria including the only four in which ALL ballots were reviewed, The National Opinion Research Center (chosen for its long-standing reputation for nonpartisan, objective, and analytically rigorous data collection and analysis) showed that Gore won. So that proves your second claim is false.
"trying to get all military votes thrown out". Game, that is just utter nonsensical bullshit (pardon the expression, but it is). You should be embarassed even to write such baloney. The only military votes that the Gore team wanted to supress were those that were undated and unpostmarked. There was no valid indication of when the votes were cast, whether they were cast before the deadlines or not. Therefore, they were NOT legal ballots. I think is is quite fair for the Gore team to try to keep non-legal ballots from being counted. However, the Florida courts (bastard liberals) demanded that those vote be counted anyway. Gore STILL won under the above scenarios.
So your first statement is not only false, it's blatantly false, and furthermore, it is smelly baloney.
You really ought to do a little research into the subjects before you mouth off such blatant untruths.

If the Democratic system is so sturdy and well run, it should be competent enough to make improvements in the economic system
also, thus, no one would need to leave such a well run Democracy.Of
course,that is only common sense,
not some laughable web site,so I
suppose many will continue to leave
this land of sturdy systems.
